Had a very good experience at this restaurant. Sitting in the patio. Hardly anybody there. And hardly anyone inside the restaurant. I’ve lived in the neighbourhood for many years, but hadn’t been here before. As it is a hotel restaurant it’s always open but hardly anyone goes. The food was very good and the service also excellent. The fish and burger were excellent A great place to go for a business meal if you want quiet, good food, and lovely surroundings.

We came for their TIFF afternoon tea and it was so great! They put us in this lovely corner, and the service and food was impeccable. The scones were delicious. The salty bits were good as well. The server explained the whole menu to us and you could smell the teas before ordering them

Duck breast is the best duck meal I ever tasted. I have tried hundreds of restaurant in Toronto, the duck breast is the best. Only negative about it that the duck breasts are only two pieces.

Was in Toronto for my elderly father’s medical appointment at Toronto General Hospital I found Cafe 85 on open table and saw it had good reviews so booked it for breakfast. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and sat us at our table. Waiter was efficient and friendly. Both of our meals were excellent and a perfect portion. Forgot to take a picture. We will return when we have to go back to Toronto for an appointment and will book through open table as it is a busy restaurant.
