We love this restaurant — been our “date place” for many years … and it has never disappointed us. The new fish & chips special with a bottle of wine? Great deal. The marinated mussels were divine. Aji was an excellent steward of the oysters and all parts of the menu as well. The colorful design makes for a fun environment, and we can’t wait to go back.

The Whale Wins is a charming little place to grab lunch with a friend. The menu is minimal, which is nice, and the food was delicious. We had the Halibut Dip with Chips, the Strata and a bowl of their French Onion Soup. I would highly recommend all three of those menu selections. Additionally, their little shop inside has plenty of eye candy to enjoy this time of year. The Whale Wins is a winner!
