Great place hidden away in a restaurant alley. Food was good and the tiramisu was top notch for their name sake. My primary course was the Branzino debones table side. Great service.

Glad to finally experience John's Grill in SF. The food was superb. Started with tomato and cheese appetizer. Then lobster bisque, followed by steak and lobster tail. Finished with their bread pudding with creme anglaise. All top notch. Cocktails excellent also. The restaurant was already crowded and noisy at 4:30 PM. There was apparently a convention in town.

My wife and I visited one of our favorite restaurants for a nice dinner with our 25 year old daughter, and had a great evening. The food and drinks were excellent as was the service. We will be back Skates on the Bay!

Kim was an awesome waiter. I'm a local who entertained some cousins who were visiting from Greece. Everything was spot on. I'm glad I picked this place. It checked all the boxes.
