I hadn’t eaten a dinner service here since it was the coach house, I had been in before at lunch and sat at the bar. It was good then, yet I didn’t have the full experience. I can see now what I’ve been missing. Super great on all levels. Service was busy but Joseph hustled his butt off. Ravioli was next level if you love pasta, it is made in house. My date had the mussels with linguine. I usually recommend Anthony Bourdain’s advice, do not have mussels unless you know the chef. I don’t know the chef but I do know (of) the GM, Kyle, enough to know these would be quality and I was right. The cauliflower burnt ends with pimento cheese made a perfect appetizer! Literally took me back to a 4th of July cookout from my childhood and changed my date’s opinion on pimento cheese forever. Creme Brûlée and cookies with coffee was the perfect finish to a perfect birthday dinner for my date. Bar staff also were great, I had an unterberg before leaving and they poured me a lovely sample of some fernet they thought I should try.
THANK YOU HUTCH TEAM!
