Ernesto's is a delight! Excellent food (had several of the pintxos, the rabbit plato, the plum and helado dessert - all fantastic), and good recommendations from the serving staff. Can't wait to go back!

We found the restaurant with a search of Chelsea. We liked the menu, especially the Tapas small plates. My partner and I like different things and I’m gluten sensitive, so a variety was important to us. The staff was very accommodating! They were happy to make substitutions and omissions for me. And to leave out the peppers for my partner. We both enjoyed the pear salad and shrimp small plate/skillet (sans peppers). I loved the GF omelet pocket with potato. And my partner enjoyed his lamb chops. We finished with dark chocolate mousse with crumbles on the side. We both left full and happy! Will recommend this neighborhood gem.

Lovely welcoming hostess. Very accomodating as to where we sit. Although sometimes the music is too loud, this time it was moderate. Happy that the windows were open even though it was a little chilly. We need to sit outdoors and this is the perfect compromise. Our server was lovely-helpful but not overbearing, Very sweet. She took good care of us. Food is delicious. favorite dish is the Pollo Guisado, best chicken I've ever had anywhere. Even the rice is great-how do they cook it? We love this place!
