I visited here first in the fall of 2019 on my way to Mt. Rushmore with my wife and brother-in-law . We chose this place at random. I remember the first bite of the filet I had was so tender and flavorful we all agreed the best steak we ever had . This trip in 2023 my wife and I on our first bite in mutual agreement was this isn’t what we had in 2019. It was good but we were both let down from our first experience. The service and ambience was excellent. But am not likely to come back.

We went during their lunch service on Wednesday to celebrate a Birthday. The dining room was quiet; the server was personable and attentive. They even made sure to have a Creme Brule (Off-Menu desert usually available in the evening) for my daughter, who loves it. The food was excellent. It is pricey, as all good dining is, but well worth it for a special occasion. Since it was lunch, the dining room was quiet, letting us converse and enjoy our meal in comfort. All in all, it was a great experience.

First of all the ambiance is amazing! Secondly, let’s talk about the service. It’s always top tier, attentive and our server, Armando, is a real gem. He’s always got menu and cocktail suggestions and after at least a dozen visits he’s never let us down. Lastly, the food…as delicious as it is beautiful. The smoked scallops and the filet are a personal favorite, hubs is mad for the ribeye and short ribs. Really, there are no bad choices!

Got cream of crab and mushroom soup... delicious. Also the seasonal menu pork shank ...huge. Nicely paired with mashed potatoes and grilled carrots. Very nice gravy accompanied. Always a good place to dine. Food, service and atmosphere are great.

The food was great. They really have returned to form with their blackened prime rib! Well cooked, tender and flavorful. The drinks are also a solid value. Thanks for not making them small or wimpy! The staff has gotten to know us and take great care of us every time! Looking forward to returning!

Great food and service. Highly recommend getting reservations ahead of time especially if there is an event or show that evening. This was a bit more in cost than anticipated but still a very enjoyable meal and experience.
