The tuna ceviche is a must try. Oysters are served at perfectly cold temps with plenty of horseradish!
The brussel sprouts are delicious. The scallops are amazing and a good sized portion. Green goddess salad is great and you can add protein too! Cocktail list is varied and seasonal. Wine list is varied and affordable. Great spot
We came in the night after Thanksgiving night and the restaurant was still fairly busy. It's much easier to park in this area when there's not a Red Sox game going on, and the service is more normal than when everyone is going to the game. I'm much happier with Eastern Standard in their current location and then when they were on Kenmore Square. Glad I returned, and compliments to the architect for a beautiful and acoustically pleasing environment.
We had a wonderful dinner last night at Select Oyster Bar. It was a special occasion for us so we had oysters, arctic char, and a nice bottle of wine. It was expensive, but worth it. Nicholas was our server and did a fine job. He recommended a great wine we very much enjoyed. We will definitely be returning for our next special occasion.
Four of us sat at a booth. We arrived for early dinner at 5:30. It’s very relaxing to arrive early, started with delicious cocktails. I don’t remember the name but it was the last one with passion Fruit juice. The server was very nice and the food was delicious. It’s so nice to be able to dine and be able to have a conversation because too many places have very loud music. The ambiance was terrific. Short walk to Jordan Hall. The salmon was amazing My other friends had the ravioli and it was also really great. The profiterole was giant and delicious. The chocolate mousse was tasty but too thick/dense. It was consistency of soft peanut butter. I prefer smooth like pudding. Would come back again and again.
Everything was incredible! The staff was absolutely amazing, super kind & happy!
Food was outstanding (we got the meatballs, roasted chicken, & the lobster roll warm) & came out quick.
If you’re in Boston & want to have an elevated (no pun intended) dining experience with unbelievable views & quality, this is the spot!
We have been going to Aquitaine for years and continue to love the food, ambiance, and service. The sole meunière was delicious. One of our favorite restaurants in Boston.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Unique and flavorful.
Charred cabbage was exotic, the fish tacos perfect and the baby back ribs delicious. The butterscotch is to die for.
