Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Florida
Always a great experience at council oak! Had the Ribeye and lobster Mac and cheese. Portion was enough for 2 and the crab cakes are amazing!
After 2 so so meals, this one was very good. Pricey for a dinner in a venue reworked from a banquet room.
Not worth the cost and food was not that good
This is the best steak restaurant I've been too.
And we have tried the #1 rated places in all of Vegas
We had a semi good experience. The food was great the service was really good. Our reservations were at 845pm and whuke we waited over 20 mins they were sitting people that just waked in before us.
Location: could be better since it was not at tye reataurant rather a banquet hall inside the hard rock. Ik assuming this is due to all the construction at the hard rock. We walked through three casinos to get to the location and i believe we developed lung cancer on the way to the local. LOL I HAD NICOTINE in bedded in my nostrils during dinner.
The beer selection was limited and wines were not fully stocked.
WE might return upon completion of the restaurant.
The food was good but a bit overpriced. The restaurant was in a temporary space inside the ballroom which impacted our experience. Good overall and we enjoyed ourselves but won’t be our first choice next time at the Hard Rock.
We went to Coucil Oak for "date night". We were greeted as we arrived by hostesses with great positivity. When we were seated our server Madison came to greet us immediately as well as we were given our hot towels to clean our hands. Madison was a great server and his opinion on what to eat was spot on. We enjoyed every morsel of our meal and even enjoyed the leftovers the next day. At the end of the night we were greeted by Lisa one of the managers with a magnificent smile and awesome positivity. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the wonderful staff. We will definitely be dining here again and next time with family and most likely with friends. We have also expressed to our friends that they must try the food here. Our complements to Pedro the chef on that night.
Everything except for the steaks was great. Unfortunately, the main course (everyone's steak) was burnt. I'm sure it's a one time occurrence but it was disposing
When we are in town again, we will definitely return. Cocktails were unique and top notch. Food was first-rate and the service, outstanding and attentive!
Would like to see more specials or options on menu
Great place for great food!
Our meal was favorable and delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We dine here st least once a month and have never been dissapointed
The food is always very good, the service this time was excellent; Madison was over the top and entertained every request and was very entertaining.
no privacy during sunday brunch
tables to close together
Very disappointed that we ate such a expensive dinner in a ballroom. I was able to smell the flames of the sternoes that was keeping the food warm. Our servicer was horrible and took him 15 minutes to come and greet us at the table, he didn't even have water with him. Food took 45 minutes to get and for dessert he only asked 1 person out of 6 if they watered coffee or dessert.
He was rushing and seemed very uninterested in our table.
I will only go back when they move locations again.
Great food and ambiance.
Not worth the money. Go to Miami. Overpriced, decor looked like a banquet hall with ugly curtains masking whatever... casino was average. $225 meal with less than average food. Service was good. I’m sure it’s ok for the hotel guests not wanting to leave, but there are much better places to go. Big mistake. Lesson learned.
My husband and I dined here on our final night of a great vacation. Excellent choice. The restaurant is in a temporary location during the Hard Rock renovations and they are making it work well. Service was excellent and friendly (I believe it was Alex that waited on us) For our main course, I had the filet and my husband had the lamb chops. Both were perfectly prepared and generous portions. Sides were au gratin potatoes and asparagus, also excellent. We were very happy with everything about the experience and would highly recommend.
I have been dining at council oaks for many years with satisfactory experiences however my experience last night was less than satisfactory. Due to the ongoing renovations the restaurant has been “temporarily relocated” into a ball room a couple minutes walk from the casino floor where the restaurant had formally been located. This means that the kitchen is far from where the dining area is. The waiters roll the food in on uncovered dark brown plastic carts. Every part of the meal from appetizers, salad and the mains took quite a while to arrive, and once it did, needless to say it was cold. The taste and quality of my mother’s meal was horrible to say the least and had to be sent back. After waiting almost an hour for the meal, we did not want to wait any longer. The creamed spinach was cold and so salty it could not be eaten. For a meal over $200,
There was a lot left to be desired. I know we were not the only table unhappy after over hearing several tables around us complaining about the cold food and long service. I will not be going back until they have relocated to their “permanent” location.
Decided to have our New Year's Eve dinner here and while the cost of 180.00 per person was rather stiff, all-in-all it was worth it.
I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and enjoyed it for years. I moved away from the area but drove 2 hours to celebrate New Years. However, I was shocked when I arrived and disappointed by the time I left.
Please do not come to this place until after the re-opening due to occur in September. It currently is just a space enclosed by dark drapes that make you feel like your in a coffin instead of a high end restaurant. The kitchen is too far from the actual make shift location which caused every dish to come out cold. The servers were made aware and I was hit with excuse after excuse but it really did appear to be out of their hands. Even the band was new and didn't measure up to the previous band performances. Thank God the hotel I booked had a better band which made up for a terrible experience at a place I once loved.
Save your $ until September 2019 . You have been warned!
Good food and great service ! We love to brunch here . A little pricey but worth it
We love council oak we enjoy music can’t wsit until they’re back on the other side
Good food but excellent service.
Christmas Day dinner
Very disappointed went for Christmas. Didn't know they were renovating and moving as the atmosphere was quite depressing in the dining room. The menu seemed very limited for seafood. We went 2 years ago for Christmas and had a better selection. The dinner was slow to come and with two grandkids they were hungry, it was an hour before they got their dinner. Service was very good though.
Christmas Eve dinner with family. The food was incredible and large portioned. You will not leave hungry. Lobster Bisque is a must! Service was slow but maybe they were short staffed due to the holiday. The restaurant is in a temporary location within the Hard Rock so the ambiance isn’t quite what you’d expect from a place in this price range. Will defiantly go back once they are in their permanent location.
Always a delight to dine here. Very expensive, however!
Food was great, came out pretty quickly. Server was friendly and very accommodating.
Food was great. Service and ambiance was ok
Perfect choice for an anniversary celebration. 5-star food, service, ambiance, location and value for money. Would definitely be back for brunch in the future.
The best prepared bone in ribeye that I have had in years(possibly of all time). Compliments to the cook. Also, Lee(our waiter) was outstanding. Friendly, Attentive, Funny, and really made the night a Special Experience. A little "overpriced", but, a really good first time at the restaurant. I would recommend to anyone.
The waiter Michael he went above and beyond his duties very helpful and caring I wish there was more people in the world like this young man
Great service and perfect steaks
Celebrated anniversary. Very nice dinner.
Concert at Hardrock.
I had the best steak in many many years! We were going to a concert at Hard Rock and brought a friend with us as her Christmas present. The meal at Council Oaks made the evening even more special than we had hoped for.
What a wonderful brunch they do and our server Keith was just so accommodating as well as charming and a great server. I couldn't of asked for a better server.
Absolutely the best restaurant I have ever been to. The service was outstanding, my glass was never empty, the waiter put gloves on to assist my mother with opening her crab claws, plates were cleared immediately and the food was out of this world. It’s pricey but well worth it, you will not leave unsatisfied. Loved it, we will be back very soon!
