Always a great meal and service at this fine establishment. Food is excellent and uses local ingredients. The menu varies according to the season so that's a good indication that chefs offer handcrafted recipes. The service is friendly and attentive, and make you feel welcome and at ease. The restaurant architecture and interior design are beautifully executed which makes the environment look very upscale yet comforting and inviting. The value is excellent as the prices are very reasonable.
Nice restaurant, interesting menu.
Had dinner on outdoor shaded patio. Location and ambiance are great. Server had wonderful personality but food arrived cold from kitchen after 30+ minute wait. Had to send it back to be recooked and warmed. Came back acceptably warm but not "fresh hot." Clearly a breakdown between server and kitchen -- food clearly sat after preparation and was not delivered in a timely manner. Have eaten at Clyde's Willow Creek multiple times before, this is the first time this has happened -- but it dampens what could have been a wonderful evening. Will go again, but will be "on the lookout" for additional problems.
Crab cake was delicious. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the setting very much.
Excellent as always. Very consistent food with friendly service.
This was our first time at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. We had heard good things about the restaurant. We agree - it's very nice with great decor and ambiance. We started at the bar during their Happy Hour. We had very reasonably priced cocktails and an appetizer. We then went into the Washington dining room for dinner. Our food was very good and, since it was a Monday night, our bottle of wine was half price. Our server explained that he was new, but he was very friendly and checked back with us often. We would like to go back sometime and dine on the lovely patio.
I met a friend for Brunch this past Sunday. This Clyde's location is really beautiful and the restaurant at 11:30 in the morning was really quiet. The food was good, as always. I had the brioche French toast and it was yummy. I will definitely return again!
Requested certain room and seating and you were able to accommodate me. Food was excellent. Guests were from out of country and were impressed. Piano was not an added attraction as we were interested in conversation. Still rated excellent.
Just wanted you to know our waitress Ruth was a jewel. 3 women, having a 4 1/2 hr lunch. She was patient, available when we needed her and so adorable.
Great meal as usual. Sat outside for a change, warm day but shady and comfortable. Food was tasty as usual.

Had a reservation at Clyde's for my birthday brunch. We've been several times before and this has to be one of my favorite local spots for simple but delicious meals. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, service was very flexible, and I had a wonderful time. My only issue was that one of my poached eggs on my Norwegian Benny was overcooked (I'm a stickler for a runny yolk, but this was the first time this has happened in my many years of going to Clyde's). Otherwise, it was a fantastic meal all around.
Half priced hamburgers on Saturday until 3pm. A great deal!
Fantastic. Everyone was very accommodating to my party of 18+ even when we had unexpected guests. Will absolutely be returning.
Everything was great. Wonderful table and a very attentive server who was polite and engaged with our kids as well.
Great food & service but way too noisy in dining room to left of reception.
Very poor seating and the quality food for the price was less than adequate. Visited Clyde's on many occasions but this was exceptionally poor from past experiences. Price and quality of food just didn't make it. Very disappointing and I would not return to Clyde's at Willow Creek.
The Parmesan Trout and the wine were very enjoyable.
Experience was bad they did not care about the customer my table was a mess just they add whatever I order
Lots of changes that we didn't know about. And our server wasn't friendly
Great restaurant with various possibilities for dining: many different rooms and an outdoor area as well. Very tasty cooking with local ingredients.
Outstanding as always
Had a lovely dinner at Clydes. Wonderful wine and cocktails. Salads and entrees were all excellent.
Always a delight to enjoy Willow Creek's outdoor patio on a beautiful summer evening!
I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, which was excellent, EXCEPT......the tails were still on the shrimp, making it very difficult to remove. I can't remember ever having a shrimp dinner of any kind where the tails were still on the shrimp. Evidently the chef has never eaten this meal as prepared or they would have changed the way it is served.
We have been to Willow Creek several times but only during the week
This is middle ground where we meet friends from Fredricksburg
We live near Sugarloaf Mt. in Md.
This was our first time on a Sunday and found the menu disapointing compared to your weekly.
Also we brought some neighbors who had never been there
They really like the ambiance
This was first time in the room with wood chairs and noise
5 Stars for our past experience / Last Sunday 2 Stars
Kitchen was slow that day. Things came our erratically. Food quality as always just not everyone was happy waiting till everyone received their meal. Two waitresses seemed overwhelmed.
Patio is somewhat quiet but inside is mostly loud
Always good food and great ambiance! Always have family lunches or dinners at this location
And really have not had a bad meal!
We went for Father’s Day and had a great experience and food! Dalton was our waiter and he did a fantastic job!
After being seated inside we asked for an outside table, we we told "no problem", then had to wait 20 minutes. We did have a great waiter, he even went out of his way to find the wine we ordered in the wine cellar. Our food was good, Peruvian chicken for me and crab cakes for my wife, around 9:00 PM live music as played on the patio outside.
My wife and I went to Clyde's for a date night. We asked to be seated outside. The outdoor patio is beautiful, however it is right next to a smoking bar and outdoor area which we didn't realize until midway through our meal. By then we were faced flagging our server, interrupting our meal and asking to be moved, or sticking it out. We maybe should have chosen the latter in hindsight as the number of smokers continued to grow. My chicken dish was good, wife was disappointed with her crab cake which was on the dry side.
Great food and a beautiful restaurant!
Great service from Jamie and excellent food
Wow, have been a fan of Clyde's since they opened especially the old Omelette Room in Georgetown in the 70s but for the first time, it seems, they've gone to a fixed printed menu and the fun variety of foods is GONE! There used to be 3 things I wanted from their daily menu every time I went in. Now it's hard to find ONE. Don't get me wrong, it's still delicious and the service and ambiance is all Clyde's, but now the meat choices are really expensive, rivaling Ruth's Chris and other high end steakhouses. Very disappointed to the point that I'm not returning. So sad! Please go back to custom daily menus, Clyde's.
Food was similar to Applebee’s. There was a wedding so there was music pumping during our lunch. Has to ask for too many items the server was unattentive. Disappointed since the last time I was there which was over a year ago. Something changed and not for the better. Horrible value for the food and service
This place has the ambience of a 17th Century Colonial tavern. Access and parking are convenient and there is a sufficiently diverse menu that anyone can find something they like. The desserts are the best so, make sure you save some room. The favorites are the hot fruit cobblers that come in an 8" cast-iron skillet which are big enough for two to share.
