   They only serve us very small portions of meat, gave us poor choices of meat. Then changed us over 170. I was not pleased at all.

   Well overall we had an OK experience. We had a reservation for 645 pm...that I had booked a couple weeks ahead of time. I did have in the notes of my reservation that we had a baby with us and it was a celebration for my husband's birthday. When we arrived they told us they had no tables ready and we would be notified when one was available, despite having my reservation. The lobby was crowded and VERY LOUD. I had brought an ice cream cake for my husband and the hostesses took it and said they had to keep it behind the counter and would let our server know once we were seated where it was. So 50 mins later we were finally seated upstairs. We did have our server come fairly quickly and get us going. She brought our waters fast but the bar was behind and our ordered drinks took 20-30 mins to be brought out. I told her about my ice cream cake and she said she would get it into the cooler. Then she came back and brought our ordered drinks and I said "How was our cake"? She said oh I'm actually going to check on that now. So basically about an hour and half my cake sat down there before it made it to the freezer/cooler. We were able to go ahead and start on the salad bar and hot bar and by the time all four of us had gotten our plates we still had not had any meat come by. Finally the gauchos started coming more steadily but we had to request several different cuts as the same things kept coming around. It took about an hour for us to get about half of the "available" cuts. The food we did get was definitely amazing! And the ambiance of the place was nice. It's fancy and feels nice going out with family. It was very loud the whole time but it was a busy Saturday night so that was expected. When we were finally ready for our cake the server brought it to us and it had completely melted. Couldn't even open the box. They gave us a "complimentary" tiny piece of cheesecake (that we were charged for and they had to adjust the ticket to remove). See the rest on Google...not eno

   I little pricy but compared to the other upscale restaurants in that area very good deal and the food is awesome. One plus is that you know what you will pay before you get there, as it is one price. If you are doing a lot of drinking then then it might be a little more difficult.

   We’ve dined at Chima for years. It’s always been wonderful, but this time was different. Tables were crammed into every space possible, which made it hard to access the salad bar. Our server Chong was great, but there were many times that there were no gauchos on the floor. Meat selection seemed limited and wasn’t as flavorful as past times we’ve visited. Overall, it was not up to the standard we expect for Chima.

   Extraordinary selection of appetizers and fresh green salad. Well seasoned and accurately prepared meats and side dishes. Amazing wine that wanted to be eaten, not sipped slowly.

    Overhaul the experience was good. The food was delish. Two of our complaints is that we had to sit and wait on the meat to come out the entire time. The chef went to certain tables the entire night but always skipped our table although our coin was flipped ready for meat. For the money, we should have received more than what was brought out to us. The second complaint is the dress code. We followed the dress code guidelines but numerous people walked in like they just walked out of the streets and was not business casual at all. Our waitress was amazing and the bar tender was super sweet! The Dragonfruit Mojito was the bomb!!

    I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday at Chima Steak House. The servers was welcoming, the salad bar was freshly set up at all times, very friendly environment. The food was delicious and well seasoned. I will definitely revisit Chima, I hope valet parking would be resuming back soon.

    The last two visits to Chima were very disappointing. While the price remains the same or higher, the quantity & variety of food was not as good as it used to be. Had to ask our server multiple times for meat choices that never made it to our table. Then the server brought a birthday cake to the table that I didn’t order but was billed for. Overall very disappointing.

    I just to start off by saying the service by our waitress was great, the atmosphere was cool, the food however lacked and it was very loud by where we were sitting by the party next to us. I think I would have enjoyed the street food outside and saved my $200.

    Quality of the Chima experience has gone down since 2018. First off, we weren't asked if everyone at our table wanted the full Rodizio, and we weren't given an alternative option. It was about halfway through our salad plates that we were offered any grilled meats. The side dishes usually brought to the table - potatoes, polenta, etc., didn't come out until 3/4 through our meal. All in all, for $67 a person it was totally underwhelming. Would no longer recommend.

    Ultimately, the food is good. Atmosphere is good and the service is great. I have had a better experience at a Chima in a different location. If you like your meat well done, the food quality drops a bit at this location. Additionally, you will have to wait longer as they don't seem to have the meat prepared that way until requested.

    I came their a lot for the past years , prices went up again for the 100 times which it seems to be that we every time we go their is a price increase . food was the slandered but the guys who serves the meat were not coming out and we had to request food almost 5 times and our server were very nice and trying her best but she was serving multicable tables and off course some by the end of the restaurant and some in the beginning .

    I had a friend visiting from Canada and they had never been to Chima. It was a real treat. Everything was very tasty and the staff was very attentive. I will be back.

    The exterior and lobby area of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. (Modern, yet Earthy) The food on the buffet was not good, with the exception of the bread. Some of the meat was seasoned well and tasted good, however, some of the meat tasted bland. Not consistent - The first serving of garlic steak was excellent, the second serving tasted weird. The food was OVERPRICED. The drinks were OVERPRICED and contained very little alcohol. My father-in-law and husband got sick immediately after eating at Chima.

    Good food, didnt get to try all the different meat, same few kept coming by. Waitress was wonderful. Kind of sketchy people hanging out in front of the door. It was much noisier than I expected a restaurant like that to be. We were hoping for a quiet romantic dinner...it was not that kind of atmosphere

    This was my 2nd visit. The first time food was more consistent. The waiter was ok just let us run out of drinks an took a while to get a refill. We didn’t get a variety of food most was the same for instance a lot of steak. 1st visit was awesome. Ik it was Mother’s Day an it was busier than my 1st visit.

    Make sure you're strapped heading into uptown. It's dangerous out there. In regards to Chima, thankfully we were able to use our gift cards on a made up "holiday", Mother's Day, otherwise it would have caused a major meltdown. The staff was great, welcoming and attentive. The food was limited for restrictive diets, therefore, $127 for two with water was ridiculous. I was hoping for a different clientele since it was "fancy" but a kid running his parents, loudly and obnoxiously needed to be taken to the bathroom. Unfortunately, uptown has been turned into a circus and we gave it one last shot. I miss old Charlotte. It is not the place I grew up.

    I will always recommend coming here. I love the food, especially the lamb chops and leg of lamb. The prime rib too. The salmon is always moist. I especially love the salad bar and the many types that they serve. The white sangria is also really good. I have never had a bad experience when I come here.

    My son and I were having a mom/son night and chose Chima for dinner before seeing Hamilton. We were glad we did. My son was excited for chicken and sausage. We just wish they brought around more of the items for my son. He's not a beef eater.
