Very disappointed in the duck gumbo. It was black and thick. Too much roux. We know our gumbo in this area and that’s not one of our gumbo’s. Also the booth seats are so low that when you’re short, it’s too low.

Another great dining experience at Charley G’s! The steak is the best in the City and the new lobster risotto starter is delicious. The food and service are well worth it.

We had a great experience at Charley Ga. In town for just one night we were seated right away and the meal and service were excellent! The best gumbo.

We went as a party of 6 on a Wednesday night to celebrate our daughter 16th birthday. Our waitress was polite and did a wonderful job. We ordered 3 steak and 3 fish dishes. It took over an hour to get our food. The steaks were undercooked and the sea bass was bland. There are clearly much better options around town.

Another date night for the books thanks to the staff at Charlie G’s! Cameron was very attentive and helpful on menu choices. The bartender made one of the best old fashions I’ve had, and his Moscow Mules were superb. The noise level was expected being seated next to the piano. All in all the experience was great, the food was amazing, and the environment was awesome as usual!

We went for our wedding anniversary on a Friday night. The service and food were excellent. Our waiter Kyle was attentive without being intrusive. The food was great. The crab cake minis appetizer was outstanding. The staff wished us happy anniversary and there was a nice card signed by the staff and confetti on our table. Overall, this was a very nice meal for our celebration. Highly recommended.

A huge shout out to Seth who created an incredible entrée with his coffee and coriander coated tuna with a parsnip purée and sherry reduction. When I first read this entrée, I didn’t understand how the ingredients would interact, but it was incredible. The pairing that was recommended with it, a Bordeaux/Pinot Noir wine, was perfect. Thanks for a totally unexpected, but special dinner.
