Amazing and professional service. The wait staff and management make you feel like you are a welcomed guest in their home. We had the Tuna, Hamachi, chicken and the Dorado special. The Gianduia dessert was excellent!
Love the stylish 70’s decor and Andy Warhol art on the walls. We sat at the side booth -great ambiance.
Take advantage of the “weekend supper” and get a three course meal for a bit more than an entree costs.
My skirt steak was very good but my wife’s salmon was only so so
The main course was extremely salty
Altogether great! Just a bit higher noise level than we like. Food, service and surroundings were all outstanding. We’ll definitely go back!
We were entertaining discriminating, world-traveling out-of-town visitors. Casa Lever proved to be gastronomically pleasing and ambiently enjoyable.
Excellent meal!! Service is always impeccable from the hostess to the servers!!
Food was too expensive for what it was. I've eaten at much better restaurants that aren't nearly as expensive.
Amazing food and service!
Food and service was good. But extremely overpriced! There are many other comparable restaurants in the area with the same food and service quality but half the price.
A new favorite. Menu ranges from simply grilled fish to classic Italian dishes and some inventive twists on familiar dishes. Super fresh, simply prepared food, beautifully presented. Gracious service in a sophisticated, comfortable space. Flattering light and moderate noise level made for a lovely evening. Can’t wait to return.
Excellent food and dining experience!
This place is, as the NYT put it, 'deeply likeable.' The waiters were attentive, the setting was gorgeous, and the food was very very good. What more can you ask for? Well, there's over 20 Warhol's on the wall for starters. Nothing like having dinner while looking at millions of dollars of art staring back at you. Another great aspect: it's quiet. Food-wise, there's a wonderful menu.. the Eel and Salmon Crudo dishes we had were exquisite, and the portions were filling. The pasta is also nothing short of amazing. If I were to sum up the atmosphere of Casa Lever, I would say it is 'unrushed and self-assured.' A great find that I will be recommending to friends.
Been many times - always great food, impeccable service.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The service was attentive and caring. The food was outstanding in preparation, temperature, and taste. Our server Walter was great.
The staff, including the manager, were wonderful. Friendly, happy, attentive. The food was outstanding - we had the carbonara and gnudi. The restaurant was warm and cozy and exceptionally clean. Our best food experience by far on this trip to the City. We will definitely return.
Totally overpriced. $78 for the smallest dover sole ever fished out of the ocean. Wouldn’t dine again. Prix fixe menu is a rip off.
It was out Christmas Eve dinner date!! Food excellent, service couldn’t be better, loved everything about it!! Great night !!
After a couple of mediocre meals in midtown, we really appreciated Casa Lever. The atmosphere was warm and a bit electric, a good combination. The service--at the bar, at the front desk, and at the table--was faultless. And the food was excellent.
Everything was perfect. The decor, the lighting, the wait staff, the menu, the cooking, the wines . . . excellent
Lovely atmosphere, amazing food, service was top notch!
The food was sooo delicious! They had gluten free options and it tasted like normal pasta and I can’t wait to go again!! They also had warm, gluten free bread to start off which most restaurants don’t have and I was so grateful :) the wait staff was very attentive too!
Our flight landed late. We were running 45 min late on our reservation which was already a 10pm. We were nervous we wouldn’t be seated. Quite the opposite. The restaurant took amazing care of us even though the kitchen was closing. Great hospitality and the food was amazing!
Mellow atmosphere. Staff was happy to help with recommendations. Food was fantastic. Would recommend.
Set in the iconic Lever building. A beautiful restaurant, great service and an amazing Capuccino, to start.
My first time to dine at Casa Lever. I loved it!!! The food was great. The service was great. I can’t wait to go back!!!
Fabulous as always
Friendly service, beautiful decor, nice bread variety, and incredible pasta! Fun classic Park Avenue experience!
Excellent form start to finish, impeccable service.
Food Amazing and service was top rated and very welcoming.
Our server was pushy and rude. We hope service is better next time.
Had the three course weekend special and it was terrific! Great restaurant. Would return on our next trip to NYC.
Great place and
Had to wait 30 minutes after making a reservation in advance.
The food is incredible here and the service is very attentive. The pasta dishes taste like those we had in Italy. The food is definitely worth the price.
Great place, food and location.
Great breakfast business meeting venue.
The restaurant is an excellent find in midtown. The entire staff from the hosts to the servers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with a beautiful assortment of Andy Warhol paintings, which just adds to the ambiance. We had two pastas and the osso bucco. While all were excellent, the recommended cacio e pepe was truly the star of the meal and is highly recommended. The selection of wine and other spirits is varied and well priced for NYC.
Thanks so much for a wonderful evening at Cafe Lever! We brought my teenage sons who have celiac disease. Everyone was so accommodating with gluten-free knowledge and options. The pre fixe dinner option was outstanding as well. We all loved the venue, service, and absolutely delicious food!! We will be back next time we are in NYC!
Casa Lever was a great dining experience. The food was delicious and the presentation was just as well done. The maitre d' was gracious and our waiter was excellent and prompt without being overbearing. My party of 4 participated in the weekend supper pre fix and it was an excellent choice. The menu is quite big and this makes it easier to choose. If you like more intimate dinners, this place is on the louder side especially on a Friday night after 8:00 but it is still cozy with dim lighting and simple table arrangements. The ambience from the music to the Warhol paintings is effortlessly chic. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
