Casa Brindisa

A great little restaurant in the bustling heart of South Kensington. Wide choice of Tapas, but our table for four was a bit too small and it was awkward sharing the plates. Having said that, a thoroughly lovely night was had by all. A bit pricey but considering the location that is hardly surprising.

The food was nice but it came at different times - one of us was only served when the rest of us had finished. A word of warning would have been good. Service was a bit fulsome but not very efficient.

Wonderful food. Enjoyed absolutely everything. My daughter has now booked again for New Year’s Eve

Friendly staff, food tasty although portions were slightly small. We had a table on the landing beside the stairs which was much quieter than the main restaurant which seemed very loud. Overall enjoyable.

Friday night in December is likely to be busy but it was very very noisy and shouty- hard to talk. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were nice...
But not ideal for having dinner conversation!

I have been here quite a lot: this time was faraway the best value. The recommended dish of the day for £10 (Venison stew) was really good. and excellent value. The starter - seasonal veg in Romesco sauce also excellent. Wine by the glass a bit steep but overall much better value than any previous visits.

The food is fabulous as is the service. Tapas and Tempranillo are our favs...and Brindisa has the best!

Excellent and still ongoing

Great wine, excellent food, every dish was really tasty. Only point, the food is served very fast so not a very long dining experience.

First time at Casa Brindisa but a great find. Good service overall although as it was very busy we did have to ask where our wine order was! But food really nice and well presented.

My second time eating at Brindisa in less than two weeks. What's not to like ! Wonderful food and wine as allways. As I wrote in my first review, Brindisa is a must when I'm in London and I recommend it to everybody who is planning a trip to London. And I have never had any complaints.

Great relaxed lunch

Tasty tapas and nice cold Spanish lager make this a good (if somewhat pricy) choice if you are going to in the area. Important to book in advance, as we did, as the place gets busy. Was a little taken aback by the table that was initially offered to us (at the landing leading down to the loos!), but this was quickly rectified when we requested a change of location. The staff were very sweet and accommodating, if a little rushed off their feet and therefore made a couple of mistakes (again quickly rectified). Altogether a pleasant experience in a lovely setting, which will only be better in the summer months.

This was our fourth visit to Casa Brindisa. It has now become an important of a trip to London. We look forward to it and have never been disapointed . The most delicious food and drink and very friendly and attentive staff. Always recommend it to others going to London

Another fantastic working lunch in Casa Brindisa. Is to Kensington what Navarros is to Fitzrovia.

Good quality food, slightly expensive but worth it

Nice restaurant - however it is incredibly expensive for very small portion sizes. The wine list is also very expensive. It was busy when we arrived - we had booked a table but the lady on front of house did not even acknowledge us as we stood in the doorway waiting for quite a while. She then proceeded to seat a couple who came straight in and pushed their way in front of us. We did enjoy our meal but this was not a particularly welcoming experience and very over priced

Great food and quick service. Bit expensive. Definitely have the Iberico pork wrapped in pancetta!!

Unexpectedly good place! The flavour of the food was incredibly tasty. Had been wanting to try for some time and so glad we finally made it. Well worth it for a date night !

Food was good, and service pleasant - but I was really put off by the amount of upselling. We were recommended a wine at twice our stated price point, and pushed towards the more expensive options at every opportunity. Not done aggressively, but it was disappointing.

Met a friend here for dinner last Friday. Service was great and the food was tasty and delicious. The staff were really helpful and made excellent recommendations. Would definitely come here again.

A firm favourite with delicious tapas. Relaxed and friendly.

What a disappointment.
Only one dish was close to any good (octopus) but by the time I had the last of it the sauce had congealed, unappetisingly.
Only beer available was gluten free and expensive.
This was not pointed out, and the drinks menus I asked for were different each time.

Chicken dish was appalling, we got it for the Pedro Ximenez XO sauce in the description, there wasn't even a hint of that flavour.

I emphasised I wanted cold fino sherry and it wasn't, nor in a cold glass.

As a return visitor I felt let down.

Fast service. Great food

It’s just like being in Malaga again. The food was excellent! We had the saffron rice, baked clams, shrimp, and a few others and it was superb. And paired with Sangria made it perfect. I would definitely book again when I go back to London.

Good for sharing a variety of dishes. I particular liked the dessert of almond tart with figs and orange sorbet - not too filling.

Lovely helpful waiting staff, knowledgeable about menu and what each dish contained together with wine selection. Great location for attending Royal Albert Hall. Will definitely be back.
