   Food is very consistent. Apps and entrees are very tasty, with large portion sizes. Half price wine Wednesday is also a nice deal. Quality service tops it off.

   Went for Sunday brunch. Food was delicious with large portions, bottomless mimosas, service was outstanding with very attentive waitstaff. Place was very busy. Highly recommend a reservation. A bit of a loud atmosphere but not in a negative way. Easy street parking.

   Very nice dinner, staff was great. Our reservation for six turned into reservation for four and while we had to wait for 15 or 20 minutes for a table. It wasn’t a big deal. Then they comped us a charcuterie plate which was really cool. Nice evening!

   This is a wonderful restaurant for French food. Charming, neighborhood, energetic vibe. On Thursday nights, there is live music. I dined there recently on Thursday night, and the jazz music (sax and keyboard) was enjoyable. For appetizers, I had the escargot (classic and consistently well prepared), and the special scallops with risotto in beurre blanc sauce (excellent). For dinner, I tried the Quiche Florentine for the first time at this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The quiche was hearty and flavorful, and was paired with a mixed frisse salad that was generously portioned. I will order this dish again. The reason why I am not providing a 5-star rating is because of the noise level. I would recommend tapestries or fabric ceiling decor to help absorb the sound. Even when I've dined during non-peak hours, the sound ricochets and can make it difficult to enjoy conversations. I will continue to dine at Cafe Touche, but I would probably go more often (at least during peak hours) if the sound was less loud and tinny. As to the service, it is consistently very good. I fully recommend Cafe Touche

   Excellent food and service. Seating: Four-top near the front window Starter: Baked Brie (Brie en Croute ), very soft with a hint of honey. Nice flavor combination. Main Courses: 1. Boeuf Bourguignon, delicious! 2. Pork medallions, amazing flavor! Wonderful combination of tastes. Dessert: Profiterole. Good taste, but the puff pastry seemed frozen. Atmosphere: Lively and joyful Service: Very attentive, but not overbearing. Yes, we ill be back!

   Good food, attentive service, big wine list, free valet (a must, at least on Saturday night), no waiting to be seated at our reserved time. Lots to like, but so noisy that the four of us had to practically shout across our table at each other. Might try it again at a less busy time or on a less busy night.

   Cafe Touche never disappoints. This is a neighborhood favorite that we frequent for amazing French Bistro food. The steak frites, quiche, pork calvados and bread pudding are among a few of the things that we really enjoy but honestly have never have ordered anything that we didn't enjoy. It does get pretty loud if you're seated in the center of the restaurant so we always ask for a table by the windows. The staff is professional and go beyond to be sure that your needs are met. Not cheap, but worth it!

    I recently had a business lunch at this cozy bistro in downtown Edison Park which offers both French and Cajun dishes. The place was busier than I expected on a weekday at lunch, but it wasn't hard to figure out why as both the food and service were outstanding. It appeared that many of the diners were there for a special occasion. Makes sense as there are not many restaurants in this area that have such high quality food. However, the lunch menu prices means this wonderful place will likely be reserved for special occasions for me.

    Did not know it was the end of Restaurant week in Edison Park when we made reservations. The parking was a little more challenging but the "fixed price" options for appetz, entree, dessert made it well worth the trip. The food, as always, was outstanding. Rebecca our waitress was wonderful in assisting us with our food selection. Went over and above to make our meal most enjoyable even though we did experience our own wardrobe malfunctions. A most enjoyable evening even with the many obstacles we created.

    Our meal was wonderful! Everything from the appetizers to desserts were amazing. The escargots were the winner with how flavorful they were. Also Wednesdays are half priced wine! Great service as well.

    Food is always outstanding. They have. Great fish dishes along with chicken and beef. Great brunch on the weekend. Service is usually better than it was yesterday. May have been an off day for the waiter.

    Normally I love Cafe Touche, but yesterday's visit was different. We made a 2pm reservation via open table. We sat down, waiting for the rest of our party. No waiter assisted us. We had to ask the bus boy for a waiter. When the waiter arrived, 1:55pm he immediately stated that the kitchen closes at 2pm!! I was like when i made a 2pm reservation, shouldn't they serve us food? He said he'd check with the manager and returned back with our drinks. I had to ask again about the food, he stated they would wait about 10 minutes! During this time others were walking in the door and no one was told the same thing. Our party arrived and we felt like we had to rush to order food. In general a bad experience, but the food was good.

    Honestly was a disappointment, ordered the steak and eggs $33.95 the presentation was messy, steak was extremely fatty and small. For this place I expected more. Wish I took a pic the steak was laid out two eggs topped the steak and then a pile of fires on top of all of it. It looks so cheap.

    I had not been to Cafe Touche for a very long time. This meal made me sorry that I had waited so long to return. I ordered the Poulet Forestiere and I belief it may be the most delicious chicken dish I have ever eaten!

    Everything was phenomenal! Bread and butter are to die for. I had the special soup and blue cheese burger. Boss had the salad. Client had the regular burger. All really enjoyed. Boss only tipped 15%, but service was fantastic. Wish I kept cash so I could have thrown $5 more down....
