   Great support staff but we were not fond of our server. Very off, seemed bothered and timing was terrible for our food. Extra bread to accompany an appetizer literally took 20 minutes, it was cold. Would ask if I needed a refill when my glass was more than half full and be no where to be found when my glass sat empty for 5 minutes. Dessert and payment took too long as well

   Food was OK. Not great. Food came out slow. Server acted like we were bothering him. When food was served to us, no one took the time to explain what we were eating. Restaurant was not very busy. We will definitely not be coming back. However, to not be completely negative, the valet was very nice.

   The staff greeted us and we have to wait about 10 minutes or so for our table which is not bad. The restaurant was pretty crowded for Sunday night. Our waitstaff were friendly and helpful. We did tapas for dinner. Great choices. All very delicious. Spaced well. We really enjoyed our dinner and we recommend going here

   We booked for the 2023 Restaurant Week and decided to order off the menu instead. The deviled egg was delicious, but the cold potato and egg were less than par. Really enjoyed the tenderloin benedict brunch choice and the grilled octopus was tender but a small portion for an $18 item. Overall, we would return, but perhaps there's a better tapas restaurant in Chicago.

    I went for my birthday dinner!! I did put birthday in the reservation but no one really acknowledged it and we all felt awakes asking for a little celebration so that’s as unfortunate. food was absolutely amazing. we got so many tapas to share with 5 people and they were extremely accommodating with our dietary restrictions and suggestions.

    Food is excellent and the service is great. The house sangria is amazing and everything is reasonably priced. It is always crazy busy so a reservation is a must!

    Waiter was very attentive and helpful. We had an party member with a food allergy and she kept us informed about everything. And we really appreciate it!! She was also great at providing recommendations. The food was also fantastic. Loved all of the tapas on the menu!!! Thank you for the fun experience! Will come back again.

    All of the dishes were fantastic and came out within 15-20 minutes of ordering. The pitcher of sangria is perfect for a table of 4!

    Lovely waitress and phenomenal food! She recommended the octopus and it was so delicious I’ll talk about it for the next week. Everything else we ordered was delicious too - try the piripiri chicken and the stuffed mushrooms too!

    I expected a lot since it’s so hard to get a Rez here. But I found the food mediocre. Having lived in Spain, I didn’t think the tapas were anything special. The chorizo - which is a Spanish mainstay - and chicken were blah.

    Amazing food and experience. They are clearly a bit understaffed and I feel for the staff running around. We saw our waiter maybe twice and the other time we had to flag him down real quick. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic!

    We celebrated a birthday, and chose Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, not having been to Spanish restaurant we took a gamble. With 4.8 stars and almost 8000 reviews it couldn’t be bad, right!?!? We ordered plenty of Tapas they were outstanding, we also order the chicken paella which everyone in our party was not a fan of, I am going to guess it has saffron in it which none of us had ever had, it wasn’t bad, just we would not order that again, but we will definitely go back for sure!! I docked one star off, just for the Paella.

    Had a date night with my wife and took her to a restaurant that she hadn't been to in years. We both truly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back and will recommend it to others. Lots of great choices on the menu.

    We’ve always loved Cafe BBREEBA but recently the quantity of food have gone down. I know it’s tapas and it’s small portion but the Shrimp Ajilio is more garlic than shrimp, the grilled octopus is more potato than octopus, and bread is not complimentary anymore but either way, we’ll still keep going cos it’s the best tapas in town

    The food was definitely not as good as in past visits. And the Bloody Mary was marginal and I have had an excellent Bloody Mary here in prior visits. Not rushing back anytime soon.

    We went for early dinner with our 8 and 10 year olds. The kids liked trying lots of different things and we were able to order our own plates too. I was surprised to have to ask for and pay for bread at a tapas bar though, I thought it used to come to the table with olive oil when you sat down. The charcuterie board only came with 2 pieces of tomato toast, disappointing since the rest is all meat and cheese . . . . Overall, we a fun night and great server and will come back.

    Food and service were excellent but the room was not comfortable. It felt cold at times or hot air was blowing over us and we were squeezed at the table. I would not recommend this restaurant in the winter !
