Very friendly staff- the owner's wife stopped by at the conclusion of the meal and we enjoyed meeting and talking with her. Wednesdays they do half price wine bottles and so we made sure to visit on Wednesday. Our waiter helped us make a wonderful wine selection- Juggernaut. If you like big bold reds don't miss that one. The greek grilled ribeye was wonderful. More

Our first visit to Villa Peru was on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately we didn't realize there would be a limited prix fixe menu offered. We were looking forward to other dishes on the regular menu. Regardless we did enjoy the meals we ordered. Service was very good. Ambiance was nice...would bring others here for an evening. We will return at some point to try the dishes on the regular menu and upgrade our rating if deserved. More

Discover Tucson

Considering that Tucson is the birthplace of the chimichanga, it should come as no surprise that Mexican restaurants are prolific in this city. Tucson falls right on the edge of the Sonoran Desert, and the cooking style in the city represents what's popular throughout this desert region. Sonoran dishes are typically based on beans, corn tortillas, cheese, peppers, and meat. Of course, although Tucson is distinctly Sonoran, it is also American, and that means you're sure to find a melting pot of cuisines within the city. When you're ready to branch out from Southwestern fare, try seafood or steak. Thin-crust pizza hits the spot when you want a familiar dish, and to top off your meal, homemade gelato is a local favorite.
