Whether you are planning a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner, Corporate Meeting, or a Cocktail and Hors doeuvre Party, our special events coordinator Jay Beckerman will help you plan a unique and memorable event at the Blue River Bistro.Located conveniently on Main Street in Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro hosts each private event in a visually rich and inviting space. From elegant dinners to intimate cocktail parties, we will customize a menu specific to your onsite occasion. The Blue River Bistro can accomodate up to 70 seated guests for a full restaurant buyout or up to 125 for a standing cocktail party. Partial buyouts can accommodate up to 45 for a sit down dining event or up to 60 for a cocktail party. When weather permits, our patios increase our total capacity by 30 seats and 50 guests standing. Food and beverage minimums vary by day of the week, time of the year, and timing of the event.

The salmon was excellent, however the paella and the shrimp and sausage were pretty heavily peppered (hot). The paella was also too dry. The restaurant was better the last time we ate there.

Blue River Bistro is our favorite Breck restaurant. We come at least once every year. Food and service were wonderful. ...as usual. There was more noise which makes it more difficult to enjoy a nice conversation. They had a guy singing and playing guitar. He was great - but it made people talk even louder. A trade off I guess for the entertainment.

If you're looking for an upscale meal in Breck, this is the place. From the moment we sat down to the last bite, everything was spectacular. Our server was amazing--you could tell she truly loved her job and was so knowledgeable. She wanted us to have the best experience possible and I think that's rare in today's day...we really appreciated her enthusiasm! The food was simply gorgeous...from the shrimp appetizer to the fried avocado on our butter lettuce salad to the short ribs. All cooked to perfection and all delicious. The menu is approachable with just the right number of choices. I am not typically a cocktail person, but I ordered a Lavender French 75 that was heavenly. I was unsure about the gin it came with, so our wonderful server suggested a different gin...it was so so good. I highly recommend Blue River Bistro!

We dined for brunch. The restaurant is very pretty. Food , drinks and service were good, but none of our group loved the crunchy shoe string potatoes/fried hash browns from the brunch menu. We enjoyed everything else.

Overall good experience. Initial frustration with drinks taking forever to arrive. Server made the excuse of the Happy Hour rush at the bar. So those folks got cheaper drinks and faster service?! Food tasted delicious, though, except for the rogue fiery hot pepper in my lentil entree. Creative dishes and decent portion sizes.

We went for a lovely brunch. Kate our server could not be anymore accommodating , she was friendly and paid close attention to our needs. We started with bloody Mary’s, they did need some salt but were very tasty. The chilaquilles dish was crunchy and we added short ribs and avocado, yummy. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun…nice bar too. Definitely would revisit

Our party of four adults were not familiar with Breckenridge, but we were looking for a place that didn't just have bar food. A friend of mine who lives in Breckenridge recommended this place, and we were happy with the selections that leaned a bit more healthy and flavorful. Two members of our group were happy to still be able to get killer fries with their entrees. Food is reasonably priced and plentiful, and our server was a pro. Casual restaurant with a touch of class. We also liked that it was on the edge of the traffic/parking frenzy.
