   Server was awesome! Service was a little slow probably due to the place being busy and understaffing so we understood that. We enjoyed the leisurely meal and loved the server's recommendations. Will be back soon!!

    I went here to introduce my boyfriend to my mom and I must say the meals were just AMAZING! Considering that we are from Mexico and our palates are very delicate, we were able to enjoy the flavors. Highly recommended, and the atmosphere is somewhat active, but friendly.

    Food was subpar, ordered top shelf enchiladas with shrimp and lobster and both were rubbery and bland. Service was great, the food for the price, not so much.

    Our server gave us excellent service. All of our meals and drinks were delicious. The restaurant was packed so the noise level was high which made conversation difficult.

    Really loud but only because it was 110% full of people so can’t complain about keeping a great restaurant going. Great food as always, server kept checking in on us as often as he could with how many tables he had. Salsa tasted great but the chips we got were 75% crumbs.

    Food was excellent as was the server, Connor. However, noise level was ridiculously loud and the restaurant was packed. This was our first time there and the restaurant comes highly recommended. Hopefully, noise is less of an issue when the weather is warmer and the patio can be used. I find that many Fort Collins restaurants are too noisy for an enjoyable dinner. Inside voices, anyone?

    We made a reservation but we weren’t seated for 30 minutes after our reserved time. We weren’t offered anything while waiting either. The food was good once we got it and so were the drinks. I normally like this place but the service was very slow.

    The food was delicious and the service attentive. One member of our party has hearing problems so I'd requested a quiet area ahead of time and also on arrival. We were put in the middle of the main dining area with all the tables being filled shortly around us with other diners. Music was also very loud. Server had it turned down somewhat. Perhaps there wasnt enough wait staff to seat us in other unoccupied areas.....but don't go if you expect to have anything but a "lively" atmosphere.

    We went here for Great Plates. Although it was relatively empty when we arrived and I had a reservation , they tried to seat us very close to the door. I wish places wouldn’t try to fill the worst tables first. There was an empty booth we requested instead. The server seemed to be covering the bar, so drinks took a bit longer than expected, but we weren’t in a hurry. The food was outstanding! Good choice for Great Plates.

    There were 6 in the party. All the food and margs were great. The wait service was one of the best ever had. Truly wonderful. Restaurant was crowded as it was 1/2 off greater than $12 tequila Tuesday so it was very noisy. Blue Agave is a favorite but it is very expensive and the added fees above sales tax is one of the highest. We tipped our server nicely for the attention but I don’t appreciated this high of a level of added fees on expensive food. There are restaurants that don’t do this.

    Our waiter, Ryan, was a delight. His knowledge, attentiveness, and positive energy made our experience a real winner. Food was excellent (pork carnitas app, Adobo burrito, avocado tacos) and the Classic Margaritas were wonderful. A bit loud, but we didn't mind. Overall, great and we'll be back.

    Food was really great. I had the tacos en fuego and my wife had the blue agave fish tacos. Service was pretty slow because they were so busy… we went long periods without being asked about drinks needing refilled, twenty minutes before we ordered entrees, etc. Very loud inside, but not much they can do about that… definitely a lively atmosphere. We still enjoyed everything very much.

    We chose Blue Agave to celebrate two February Birthdays and were not disappointed. The menu offered lots of unusual and delicious options at all price ranges. One of the birthday celebrants opted for a beautiful salad and tortilla soup "to die for". Another had an "off menu" surf and turf dinner that included perfectly rare steak and scallops in a wonderful sauce. one of us had a hamburger, another tacos, both of which were declared "really good". Our server, Janna, was extremely patient, and efficient, with a group that included a 2-year old and asked a lot of questions, and had trouble deciding what to eat and drink. We had a very good time and will definitely return to Blue Agave soon.

    One of our favorite restaurants in Fort Collins! Food and service are consistently great and their happy hour bites and drinks are very reasonably sized and priced. I recommend Blue Agave for any occasion.

    I added it was a birthday to our reservation and no one asked. The food has definitely gotten worse the past few years. My kids burger came with cheese we asked to be removed. They did fix it but my lobster Mac and cheese seemed to have no lobster and my husbands burrito lacked flavor. Also they started charging for chips and salsa? Props to the server who ran after me with my credit card after I left it.

    The margaritas are amazing. The food was well worth it. The salsa is a "chip sticker". Our server was very attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend a booth, if you want conversation. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

    Service was friendly and attentive (not overly so). Food was good - the plating/presentation could have been more appetizing - mash with my salmon like a big ol ice cream scoop and did not especially taste 'fresh' - and there is no excuse for mediocre mashed potatoes in my book. Salmon was well cooked. Avocado tacos were a hit with two in the party. Guacamole was outstanding. Fresh, warm chips with it were an unexpected treat.

    My partner and I showed up for Valentine's Dinner. We were unaware of the “special” menu until we sat down and we’re not allowed to order off the traditional menu. The meal because more expensive than anticipated and there was a lack of options for a person on a vegetarian diet.

    Special Valentine’s Day prix fixe menus at $45 and $65 plus drinks. Double pork chop, mashed potatoes, etc. at $65 was well prepared and tasty. Flank steak was not thinly sliced so overly chewy. Chicken dishes our friends ordered were enjoyable. Hard to know if the Valentine’s Day experience generalizes to typical night. Restaurant limited time at table to 1.5 hours for four persons, less or more for other sized groups. Service was friendly and prompt, but there was no dallying after dessert.
