Did was very good
Due to problems at the bar, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get drinks. Other than waiting for drinks everything else was great.
We have had many steak dinners at Black Angus, usually with lobster as well. I have always been very happy with the food, service and low noise level. It is my favorite restaurant. However, this time I was disappointed in the steak preparation. I have always ordered medium rare, and it has been prefect. but this time medium rare was much rarer than I like. I agreed with the waitress to send it back, stating to cook it just a little more. That was the last I saw of the steak until I had finished everything else in my meal and waited at least another 5 minutes. When the waitress finally brought it back, it was almost well done, which I don't care for. I had her box it up to take home for my husband. So not a great experience this time, but their overall record is excellent.
When it’s your dad’s birthday and he’s in the mood for prime rib, Black Angus is the place to go. His prime rib was prepared just the way he liked it, he got his choice of two sides and was pleased with his classic baked potato and green beans. The kitchen and waitstaff got our dinners to the table in a timely manner, well presented. Dad was pleased and so were my husband and I.
Nice restaurant to have a good steak without having to drive to Tacoma or Seattle. Great customer satisfaction service
Great food for the prices. Not only a steakhouse. Thank you.
Always a pleasure dining at the Federal Way Black Angus...
Black Angus in Federal Way always has delicious steaks and with the coupon specials we get in the mail the price is reasonable as well. Had a very friendly waitress too!
We went there for my dad B-Day and it was a pleasant diner stay^^ It is very nice restaurant vito delicious food :} and very friendly waiters and stuff we were much enjoyed it, thank you very much ^^
I definitely recommend having a reservation! We thought the service was quite good. The ambiance was right and as always the food was delicious!!
The waitress was the best. Even the service. I ordered king crab legs. They came out so small and when I said so they brought out an extra plate of them.
I love Black Angus. Usually we visit the Lakewood location, but this wasn't my first visit to the Federal Way location. The service was very poor - we received one appetizer fifteen minutes before the other appetizer was brought out, we didn't get water until after the first appetizer appeared, our salads were all brought out at different times, we asked for a refill on bread that never came until after dessert, one person was brought prime rib instead of the ribeye she ordered, the desserts ordered were ice cold, etc. Too many issues on a Saturday night - we saw a lot of delivery orders being processed as well. So maybe come on a weeknight or another off-peak time.
Server forgot part of our order and wasn’t available as much as she should have been
I always make a reservations, its so busy but my husband and just love it :)
We've been patronizing Black Angus for years , since California and now in Washington. We live in the south sound and frequents the units in Puyallup and Federal Way. last visit was in Federal Way yesterday and was very disappointed with the quality of food and its presentation. We normally opt to have the Campfire Feast for Two. The bread came out brown and more like burned on the skin since it tasted bitter. The artichokes were fine but the Caesar Salad was drenched in dressings, but most importantly the New York Steaks were REALLY, REALLY, OVERSALTED by whoever the broiler Cook was. Told the waitress Sonia to please inform Terry the Manager about the problem and she said yes but probably never did cause Terry normally always come to the table inquire, and remedy the situation. The veggies were nice and so did the dessert. just the steaks were again OVERSALTED and NON EDIBLE , just had a few bites and took them home for the puppies after washing them in warm water and STILL they were darn SALTY!!! We're gonna refrain from going to Federal Way for a while and maybe only goes to Puyallup unit.... Hello Joe ! Maybe not....
I would give them a perfect score but twice I ordered cobbler after our meal and fruit was raw and cobbler barely warm. Other than that it was great steaks were cooked perfectly and very tender.
WE ENJOYED ARE DINNER. WILL COME AGAIN. WE LIKED THAT WE MADE A RESERVATION THERE WAS NO WAITING.
Very good food clean relaxing atmosphere the waiter and all the service was beautiful 5 star
Good food and ambiance.
The service was horrid, no one came to our table for quite sometime, then the waitress that did, she didn't know she had out table!! Terrible management or something. I had told the lady that seated us that my friend was having a birthday that day, but nothing was said to the waitress so I had to say something again in from of my friend.
loud, lousy, and not conducive to having a coversation. And the food? Bleh. Quite disappointed actually
It was our 7-year anniversary and we had a lovely experience. Steaks were cooked perfectly, onion rings were delicious as was my desert, the Cowboy Cookie, which I was too full to finish! My only critique is the fries were a bit soggy, but besides that, delicious food and great service! I would recommend to anyone and I will be returning!
We eat here every couple months. Good service and the food is always good.
It was great
Our reservation was at 7:45 and we planned to go after dinner to see a movie at 9:20. When we arrived I was concerned with how busy they were that we would not make our movie. We got seated right away after checking in. Our waiter was very nice and efficient. We were able to enjoy our 3 course meal and still make it on time to our movie. Can't wait to go back again and enjoy excellent food.
Our Open Table reservation got right in, with no wait, despite the very full parking lot. The service was excellent, and the booth space generous. This worked out well for my 6'4" frame, our one "over-sized" member, and the 6 yo, as all very comfortable.
The food was plentiful, and tasty, but it is pricy.
Had the camp fire feast for 2. Could not finish entire dinner. Had reservations for 4 and were hoping for a nice table in the dining area and we wound up seated at a booth in the bar. Wasn't looking for TV's with games on them at this time. There is a time and place for this, but that night it is not what I was looking for. Still had a good meal and good service.
Love it each and every time we go!
Great Happy Hour. Always highly recommend.
Yes...I would definitively recommend Black Angus Steakhouse to friends, family & everyone! Our server Cathy was outstanding...personable, enjoyable & efficient!! 5 stars for all!!
Food was delicious. Service was very good. Wait was too long even when we already had reservations, other than that excellent, we enjoyed it. Thank you!
Good food a bit pricey for me but overall great experience.
It was a busy Valentine's day evening, but they honored my reservation and got me seated and served less than 5 minutes late which was acceptable considering the rush. I highly recommend the waitress Megan who had a great personality and never forgot us throughout the busy night. I had even forgot my phone and they kept it for me. I remain impressed with their service.
Food was ok. Dessert was cold and so was the prime rib. We ate here for the first time on Valentine’s Day. Service was good and so were the drinks. The price was fair but the food was average to sub par. I don’t know that I would go back since there are plenty of other options for steakhouses.
We came early and we were willing to be in the bar but you got us a nice table in the dining room and had a great time. Thank you!
Place was nice, good food. Long wait for a reservation. And also no utensils at table. Overall good experience.
Valentine's day had long waits but food and everything was, as usual, very good !
Black Angus used to be a lot better. This was on valentines day and it wasn't packed like it has been in years past. My girls green beans was over cooked, my meal was ok, not fantastic, just ok. The big thing that stands out they always serve a little loaf of bread before the meal, we commented even twice, and never got our loaf of bread.
Wonderful service by our waiter!!
One of the best Valentine's day dinners we've had. Great experience with my parents and spouse.
Always enjoy our cheat meals at Black Angus Federal Way! Sad that Randy was all booked up even with reservations. For a Valentine's day dinner, service was good and our food came quicker than most nights.
