Bhojanic Restaurant at The Shops Around Lenox
Turkey Kabobs and Goat biryani is amazing. This is our go to Indian restaurant
I have always had a great experience every time I have dined here!
Restaurant entrance was so filthy we literally tuned around and left. Disgusting mat, papers and magazines on the floor, nearly empty restaurant. Not what we expected.
I like the food here, service is also great. However we had fo wait almost 70mins for our main entree. Even our appetizer went cold before the main arrived. We were told we are behind a party. I would advise the kitchen to plan accordingly because we almost got up and leave.
I hope the incident doesn’t ever again. Good thing the food is delicious
There are many combinations that allow you to try different meats and sides. Dinner was excellent! The atmosphere is casual and lively. I will definitely return again.
Great dinner! Outstanding service and amazing food! I am not Indian so I cannot speak to true authenticity, but judging from my knowledge and the clientele, this place is the real deal! The goat curry and Byriani lamb was amazing! Asked for more spice because I love the heat...they brought a green chili paste to the table that added the sting that you want packed with flavor, without killing your taste buds. A new must visit on our Atlanta list! Thank you!
Great food! We only ordered vegetarian options and the flavors were great!
Waiter was terrible. Forgot a whole person’s order. Seemed like a job his parents made him take or something.
I always order two entrees: the veggie biryani and the lamb or goat currie and then i spoon the currie over the biryani. I can eat about half and I take the rest home. Love, love, love it!
This restaurant is in our regular rotation. We like the food, the casual atmosphere, etc. Tonight’s experience was good as usual except that the food was much spicier, meaning hotter. This was unexpected and since we brought another couple who had never been to an Indian restaurant it did not play well. Not sure why the big difference in spice level but consistency is the key.
Second time here and I must say it was worth it again ! 🙂 never knew I could like India food so much ! Thank you Bhojanic !
Great food at a great price. We will be going back.
The menu has changed, and the prices have increased as well, but favorites like the kathi wrap can still be had by asking. The garlic naan was not as flavorful, and the price is now higher, but it did arrive at our table much faster than on any previous visit.
My family and I (Me Hubbs Sister Daughters 7, 4 and baby boy 9months) all went for Christmas dinner and OMG amazing!!! Food delicious must do the Shrimp Curry my fave. And parents let me tell you my kiddos gave it a “mommy when can we come back”....
My wife indicated her chicken curry was a little too spicey
Great service and food
Super amazing food!
Great-tasting food, extremely satisfying; hands down, ATL's best Indian food. Cramped seating, tacky interior/decor. Table pairs along bench seating are not the same height and slope one way or the other. Slow service. Overpriced overall, especially, build-your-thali option.
Outstanding food, still far and away the best Indian restaurant in Atlanta. Always find myself wondering why the help always seems so listless and unhappy?
Good dining experience overall .
Good restaurant but with food was different for us. The menus doesn´t have any photo, so we didn´t know what to ask for. Everything was a surprise.
We didn´t have to much feedback from the waiter.
my husband selected this restaurant as the first choice to celebrate his birthday. he was not disappointed.enjoyed his meal very much and well as the accompanying service. thank you very much.
IMHO Bhojanic is the best Indian cuisine in Atlanta. Service is always good.
Excellent Indian food in a casual atmosphere
Everyone in my group lived their meal. The food was great and the service was great. We will absolutely return.
Our son was in town for a couple of days. He wanted Indian food. The food was very disappointing!
Service, Jaz, was very good. We will not be back.
I already love Indian cuisine, so I try to sample different restaurants that reflect different regions. This gem is North Indian. Seems like a smaller menu, but once you see all the possibilities, you’re in for a treat. Can I say it’s authentic? Can’t be sure. Can I say it’s delicious? OH YES! Generous portions, wonderful flavors. It’s got a modern, simple look which contrasts with many Indian eateries that are sometimes overdone with bright lustrous fabrics. It’s mostly concrete, so the noise level can jump when it’s getting full, and there’s only one wall of windows at the front, so don’t expect a dazzling city view. There’s a nice cocktail selection, and a small but mighty wine list. The staff was very nice and attentive, but soft spoken and a little less engaged than I like. But that’s just me. Looking forward to trying it again next time I’m in town!
Unfortunately, the service was very slow, even though the place was not busy at all for a Friday night. The wait staff was more interested in talking with themselves than being attentive to their customers.
This is one of our favorite restaurants that I think was having an off-night. Normally they have great service and the food is always good. I wish they would find another location.
Amazing! Food and service was excellent!
It was a pathetic service and highly priced food. Food was also not good
Service was great. Food was just okay... chicken tikka masala was too spicy and not creamy enough. And then everything just seemed spicy (rather than well seasoned and flavorful).
Great food as always!
The food was delicious. Our server was very good. The hostess at the door needs to go. She was hunched over the hostess table on her phone when we walked in and didn’t even bother to look up until we addressed her. The same thing happened when we left. The restaurant should save their money and just get rid of her.
Delicious! We had a reservation and they immediately led us to our table. They clearly identified gluten free options on the menu and our server suggested a few other options, which was appreciated. We ordered the curry chicken and chicken tikka masala and both were delicious! We will be back!
SHADY BILLING PRACTICES! Was overcharged twice on the same transaction.
My partner and I had dinner here for the first time last month. When the bill came, the total was $33.11. I placed my card on the tray and the waitress took it away. When she brought back the receipt for me to sign, the itemized bill was no longer present and the amount had somehow increased to $40.95. I brought this to the waitress’ attention and told her that the amount was not correct. She went away and then came back with a correct receipt showing $33.11. She said she had accidentally added another table’s naan to my order, which I thought was suspicious since this naan was not present on the itemized bill I was presented with just moments earlier. In any case, the amount now correct, I signed the receipt, wrote “cash on table” on the tip line, left $6 on the table, and left the restaurant. A few days later, I check my bank account and notice that the charge had posted to my account as $51.11 – an $18.00 overcharge!
I went back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He confirms that I was overcharged by $18. He claimed that this was most likely due to the waitress looking at the tip of another receipt and inadvertently adding it to my card. I inform him that I found this claim to be quite dubious since it was the SECOND time I was overcharged on this same transaction. I explain what happened on Friday night, show him the receipts (which he takes photocopies of), and he assures me that my money would be refunded. He said that the GM would be in touch with me to discuss. A couple days later, I did indeed receive the $18 refund on my card. However, a week later I still hadn’t heard anything from the GM. As I wanted to make sure that the GM was aware of the issue, I sent an email to follow up. The GM then called me to discuss what happened. She was apologetic, but again just said that it was an error and that it was probably due to the fact that the waitress was new.
Good and service was excellent. Love this place.
Consistently reliable food, thought the staff seemed a little foggy.
Great Indian food and good IPA beer selection. I just wish they had more comfortable seating! They have metal chairs and benches...
Great place but kids were just screaming left an right...can’t blame the restaurant though.
I used to frequent the Clairmont Rd location and miss it greatly. The food is just as good here, but the location much more challenging (Buckhead traffic). Still, best Indian food in town and worth the trip. Best samosas in town and Chicken 65 is fabulous! Ambiance is casual, but the only problem with it was the shrieking child, whose parents seemed to feel it was acceptable behavior - it's not!
