Welcome to Benihana and a dining experience unlike any other! Our guests are seated at communal tables in groups, where your personal chef will perform the ancient art of Teppanyaki. Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m. Validated parking is available weekdays after 5 p.m. and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

We had a reservation but had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to be seated , even though we were 5 minutes early. Once seated we weren’t greeted until about 5 minutes after. The lady got our drink orders and then we didn’t see her again for quite some time. While waiting I had enough time to notice all the straw wrappers, napkins, and just trash and debris all over the floor. It looked as though they had a rush and didn’t bother to clean afterwards. The lady finally comes back but with no drinks and proceeds to take our order. They couldn’t accommodate a switch on my rice so I changed my order to sushi and she became visibly annoyed. Fast forward the chef has come out to prepare the meals for everyone. We still don’t have our drinks… my sushi comes out and she mixes my order up with the young lady next to me so she takes our food back with the promise of a new one. Finally our drinks show up. Everyone is eating except for me. The server was gone so long I had to get up and search for her. I found her sitting by the sushi station conversing with the host. Annoyed, I cancelled my order took the bill and left. Very disappointed. Will never return. And will be telling other people to avoid this place at all cost.

I went for my birthday (as I do ever year) and it wasn’t the same. No ice cream, no picture, no song, no green tea … they didn’t do any of the traditional stuff I’ve come to enjoy from this restaurant. The experience was disappointing.

This place was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I’ve had . Reservations at 8:30 got seated at 9:40 wasn’t even attend until 10:00 that was just because our table hadn’t been served or asked for beverages or drinks and I spoke to a manager. Our seating area was miserable hot and damp with water falling off the AC ducts on us. Then Lights went off . Smh. After a while we were moved to another table . The waitress there stepped it up and got ball rolling must have been around 10:20 . It was her first day but the whole table agreed she made it better with her accommodating us expeditiously. This place needs to tighten up . Not at all what I remember this being as.

Staff were great and accommodating. Restaurant was hot when we arrived. They placed floor fans around to cool customers down but wasn’t expecting this from Benihana. Chef was sweating and staff were sweating too. Not the best way to enjoy hibachi. Our group of 9 stayed because of the staff otherwise we would have left within the first 5 mins. Management needs to fix the A/C or risk losing more customers. Definitely not value for money on my visit.

Absolutely outstanding food today, Edgar (Chef) was really on his game today. The table was full and everyone ordered an entree and approximately 12 orders of rice; everything cooked exceptionally and seasoned to perfection. Love Benihana downtown!!!

The evening started when we arrived early for our reservation and we were told that it would be a 1/2 hour wait, even with a reservation. After waiting 25 minutes were sat at our table. The host confirmed with me that on my reservation, I requested a birthday song. We were seated and the soup served was under salted/seasoned and just tasted like flavored water. The chef rushed cooking our meal that the zucchini was barely cut and our chicken was over cooked and dry. After I meal was over the server brought the other family a brought the other family a birthday sundae and sang the song but totally forgot us. When I brought it too her attention as we were paying, she said the host never told her and asked if we still wanted it. We celebrate at Benihana’s because we love it. Last night everything went wrong and we felt totally let down.

All the restaurant windows, floors, menus dirty, AC don’t work is super hot, restaurant has fans around, Hostess non professional, make the reservation and we still wait 30 min, this place need a good manager, finally they call us, when we get the table, dirty, still food on the top of the grill, grease on the menus, We been several Benihana’s always super clean, real professional, managers around, but this place needs to be inspected by the county and a visit from Corporate is unhealthy, We stand up and leave.

I regret choosing them to Celebrate my birthday this location was very prejudice the host was the chef was great and the waitress but the Asian host told us we had to wait on all of our party before being seated once we were all there she insisted on seated a white group of people that repeatedly said they were waiting on 2 more guest. She seated them 1st and told us to wait. I'll never go there again.

Definitely the worst dining experience I’ve had-will NOT be going back! Had a reservation at 7 and did not get seated until 8, but got seated in the back where there was no ac!! It was soo hot at our table that we ended up leaving and going somewhere else to eat!

One of my favorite chefs, Edgar, cooked for me yesterday. The food was outstanding along with the service. Looking forward to the remodel of this location, can't wait to see the changes.

we had reservations and it took over an hour to get food—-could not get refills fast enough, we were seated in the area where the ac was not working and then seated next to a table where it was so loud and the environment was toxic-SOOOOOO UPSET

I understand busy hours is a must, but be prepared. Downtown location definitely is NOT prepared. The fact that the soups were cold, sushi rolls had a chewy texture.. I follow sushi and this place is NOT a place to order sushi. Also, the cherry on top. NO A/C!!! They had shop fans blowing circulating hot air. Not going back at all. Hope things get better for y’all fam.

Great Japanese Steakhouse experience! Waiter was a little overwhelmed when getting everybody situated with their drinks and then slow to come back for refills. Food was excellent though and made up for the slower service.

We made reservations for my girlfriends birthday. She had never had hibachi and I figured the experience would be great for her birthday. I made a note on the res, notified our server, and notified the chef next to our table that the birthday girl has celiac and needed her food gluten free. The chef I told let our chef know (in Spanish) when he came out and he shrugged it off as it was no big deal. I understood and let him know again, he was very annoyed at my request. Every hibachi experience I’ve had previously, the chef was very interactive and was there to provide a show and have fun, our chef was in a “cook and move on to the next table” type of mood. The show was absolutely pitiful and not worth the $150+ bill for two people. The food was very subpar and tasted like over peppered food with little no no additional flavor. I will never be back to a Benihana because of this experience.

The food is great! The service was poor. We had reservations and still waited over a hour for our table. Our waitress was kind but over worked. She was waiting every table in the restaurant. We didn't get all portions of our meal.

I went for my birthday, and with my niece for her first hibachi experience. Unfortunately, even though all of the tables around us got a classic hibachi show, our chef didn't do any of the classic hibachi things. We didn't even have any flames whatsoever. I was very disappointed as my niece was watching the shows at the other tables so happily and I feel like she was deprived of that experience. We also had to ask for the things included in our 6 course meals, and we never got our green tea at all.

Our experience was just ok. The building itself could use some work. They had to move us to another area bc there was water condensation that was dripping onto our plates. Thankfully we noticed it before our meal was served. Our chef was friendly and did a great job. Food was tasty.

Never had I had a bad experience at any one of these locations until yesterday! The service was bad I ordered fried rice no vegetables the waitress decided to put I wanted steamed rice. She told me she didn’t want to charge me for the fried rice if I didn’t want any veggies. I didn’t know she did that so the chef comes out to cook for us he gives me a bowl of fried rice no veggies realizes the waitress don’t charge me what I ordered. He then proceeded to take it away from me after he had served it to me.

Horrible experience. My boyfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary we made reservations for 7:30 and was asked to sit at the bar/ waiting area until our table was ready . We then had to wait a hour and when we finally made it to our table we had to wait another 2 minutes before our drink orders was taken. After all the waiting we decided to just come back the next day before we went back to our own state . We made it to the restaurant 10 minutes early to our 11:45 appointment . We weren’t greeted correctly at all simply asked how many and would not accept the fact we had reservations. We were placed at a table for like 10 minutes then was asked to join a random families table even though they needed the seats we was placed at . The family informed the servers again about the number of seats they need ,we were asked to moved AGAIN. The woman who wouldn’t accept our reservations then walked to us & made sure to tell only us that it was no lunch specials even though we was in the time from of lunch . We again had to wait another 20 minutes till where I had to beg the lady for a soup while we wait . After finally reaching a manger our food was able to be cooked at someone else’s table ruining the whole experience of coming here ! The manager was really nice & helpful but most of the staff is racist & very rude I definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here ever !!

They shoved us in like sardines I was basically sitting on top of the lady next to me, there was not enough room at that table for eight. The ceiling was leaking all over the place and dripping on the guy next to me shoulder. We won’t go back.

Benihana is amazing at staying consistent with the food & drinks they serve. Our waitress was amazing..however we went at 7:30pm and half of the restaurant was so hot it was as if there was no AC. We had a reservation and had to wait 30+ mins to be sat to finally be sat the area felt like we was in the over. They did finally fold and accommodate us a cooler area. Overall the dinner was great
