   Beano’s isn't just an outstanding 5 course meal, it’s an experience no one should miss! It is a favorite place for us to go to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, and to bring friends and family when they visit. If you are looking for something a little different from the typical restaurant scene, you’ve got to go to Beano’s!

   It was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly, from the music on the sleigh to the welcome hostess to our waiter. I don't recall his name but he was from Wisconsin. The food was incredible, the bison tartare or the elk was outstanding. Overall it was a memorable evening.

   Arctic char and beef tenderloin were both overcooked. Fish was dry. I requested tenderloin cooked rare, got it barely medium rare to medium/barely pink in the middle. I understand high prices for such a place but including tip + four drinks our bill was $1,120 for four people which was a surprise.

   Simple the most wonderful evening from start to finish. The sleigh ride on the way up and back was an experience in itself, it was almost magical riding up in the now with the lights from the snowcat lighting the trees along the trail. Service from Nicholas and Gabby was exceptional and food is first class. The scallops and the brûlée ice cream were highlights. Can’t recommend this highly enough if you’re staying near the mountain!

    I tried for three months to contact someone to ask questions like “how suitable for children, dress code, modify time of reservation, what is price for adults vs kids”, with the open table app, it was the only way I could make changes to the reservation time. But I could never ask the other questions. Even though there was a phone number, I would call during the open hours and could never reach an individual or leave a voice mail. We ended up going and it was snowing so the sleigh ride had blankets but snow was covering the seats. So we had to personally wipe off the snow ourselves and the blankets were covered in snow so they were wet and cold. Then wren it was time to leave the blankets and seats were even more covered and our bill was $800 including two adults, three children’s meals, two alcoholic beverages. We were shocked that it was difficult to get information about the restaurant and the price and the sled ride was very uncomfortable. The waitress and waiter could not have been nicer.

    This was my 2nd time at Beano's Cabin, first with my family. I was very excited for them to have this experience and we saved it for our last night of vacation and sadly, we left disappointed. It was snowing, which made for a beautiful night, but be prepared (as we were) for the snowcat ride. Tarp hoods for each rider are provided that are long enough to sit on when snowing, but definitely sit in the first row, facing backwards, to protect yourself from snow in the face on the ride up and down. The atmosphere at Beano's is wonderful, large roaring fire, someone playing acoustic guitar and singing, warm welcome with champagne and apple cider for kids (although 2 sips in the glass seems very stingy for the price you pay for the Beano's experience), happy patrons at the tables, and excellent service. Our disappointment was with the food experience. Only 1 soup was offered, which my husband could not eat, and a backup option wasn't available. The soup was brought out anyway and my son had a few bites, I finished the rest. It was very thin for a pumpkin soup, more like broth, and average flavor. The other food selections were fine, and the courses tasted ok. The best course was the cobbler dessert, but none of the other courses stood out for a restaurant that is considered "fine dining." Our server was great and she was kind enough to let our 14yrd old have the kids 3 course menu (up to 12 yrs old) but even that was a disappointment. It was literally a basic salad with ranch dressing, his main course steak was 3, maybe 4oz, broccoli and mashed potatoes. He loved the warm cookie sundae for dessert. Our family seeks out fine dining experiences at home and on vacation, and Beano's does not meet the standard of fine dining for the price. I'm happy we had the experience, it'll be fun to talk about, but don't go expecting superior mountain cuisine, regardless how well your server describes each of the options.

    We (4 adults & children) decided to spend out last night, in Beaver, at Beano’s Cabin. I thought the kids would really enjoy the sleigh ride & the menu looked good. However, we did not have a good experience. I’m writing this review about a week after our meal because I wanted to try to give a fair review but I’ve forgotten some details (such as servers name, etc). The sleigh ride up…was awful!!!! The seats were covered in snow when we first got on (seems like an easy thing to avoid with a tarp). The “blankets” they gave us were freezing cold and also covered in snow (seems like an easy thing to keep in the snow cat until passengers arrive). The snow cat was blowing snow all over us (not really avoidable) so we spent the whole ride with our heads under our blankets (no view). The arrival…There are cubbies for you to put your coat, hat, gloves, etc in which is nice. They also offer slippers if you want to change out of boots). The welcome champagne (and apple cider for kids) was a sweet touch but it was literally 2 sips. 1/2 a glass would be more impactful as my 2 sips were gone almost immediately. We had to wait approx 10 mins for our table which was weird as they knew we were arriving (bc we were in the snow sleigh) but no biggie. The table experience…our server arrived as soon as we sat down to offer beverages. Nice guy. Bread service came (good), cocktails & wine came (cocktails awful; husbands wine was decent). The menu looked great! The description of the food made my mouth water; I was so excited for dinner. Soup came (i think it was a butternut squash). Awful! Super watery and very little flavor. Everyone was disappointed with course after soup (appetizers maybe?). I had some kind of poke dish and it was terrible. No flavor at all. I ate two bites and pushed it away. Everyone else at table felt similar about this course. The whole meal continued this way. The bill…wow!!! Adult meals super over priced and $80 for a kids meal??? Don’t bother!!

    Cozy night celebrating two of our grown kids birthdays. The food was great but, we all felt there was a big time lapse between courses making the evening quite late. I think next time I’ll try to book an earlier time slot. Overall, it was a lot of fun!!

    Ordered Scallops and unfortunately, they were bad. Not just taste but made the guest sick. Other meals were good. Happened to hit the snowiest ride of the year. Our conductor was nice but all pnchos were covered with snow already when passed out.

    The food was definitely not on par with the price. It was average at best. Tons of kids running past our table the whole night. Our waitress (Jenny) was very knowledgeable. However service was slow. It was hard to get another drink and the time between courses was long. The cabin is beautiful, roaring fires, snowy ride up were very enjoyable.

    It was a wonderful evening. 20 years of coming to Beaver Creek and we had never tried Beano’s. Wished we had tried it sooner. Service was outstanding, the food was excellent and no shortage of wonderful entrees, salads and appetizers to choose from. We are GF and the staff took care of our needs with several options to modify the menu. The wine list was everything a wine connoisseur would dream of and the sommelier was very helpful in guiding us through the extensive list. We are already planning on going back next year.

    This is a wonderful option for a special event on the mountain. That is just what we did. The menu options were lovely and the food was delicious. My only hesitation in the rating (a 4 v. 5 overall) was organization of the transport up the mountain. That said, in response to the challenges we faced, the general manager acted directly, and in a conciliatory and very professional manner. He reminded us that this is truly a first-class operation. Also, the staff actually on the transport were very nice and accommodating.

    We were celebrating an important birthday. I would have rated the whole experience a five but our check in person at chop house was very rude and at the cabin there were several children running around the dining room playing tag and it was a bit disruptive. Our service was excellent, the food was very good and the cabin is magical.

    The food for my adult 5 course was very tasty the pumpkin soup cabin salad carrots scallops and dessert were delicious what really disappointing was the children’s menu for my daughter the fruit cup was a microscopic amount berries the same thing for the pasta and butter ridiculous yet we are charged 80 dollars for that The experience is fun but not worth the money if you bring kids

    We were celebrating our time together as a family, and my son in laws first time skiing in Vail and Beaver Creek. We also wanted to share the wonderful and memorable experiences we have had dining at Beano’s. Once again the Beano’s experience was uniquely memorable and exceeded our admittedly high expectations. The Beano’s experience begins with the sleigh ride up to the restaurant which is wonderfully unique. The beauty of the restaurant is spectacular and the ambiance is extremely cozy. The menu choices as well as the quality and presentation of each course was exceptional. Our servers and the service they delivered was perfect in every way. In summary, it could not have been better. We had a wonderful and very memorable celebration and dining experience at Beano’s

    Our 2nd visit in 6 years. Ambiance is charming. Service was quite good. ‘Sleigh ride’ is ‘3rd world’ for cost. Blankets are old, tired and inadequate. Dinner is fixed, 5 course. You are stuck once you get there. You can’t order a light meal - no flexibility. The food was mediocre at best. Everything over cooked. And wildly over priced for the quality. We had late seating, and kitchen tram was more focused on cleaning vs getting out last 2 courses out. Especially the desserts. Very frustrating. Manager wanders the room aimlessly and disinterested. Our advice: skip it. There are better alternatives. I’ve never complained in Open Table before. Trust me….
