   We booked an indoor table for our family including 2 kids under 5 at 515pm. Table was not available at the time of our reservation. We ended up sitting outside since we had to be somewhere for 715pm. None of the heaters worked + it was windy and a little chilly, I ended up inside with our baby to keep warm as well as make sure we got the next available table. A table indoors didn't become available until 645. Our server was nice and did her best to help us. The person at the front couldn't care less. We even saw another party who arrived after us get seated indoors. The restaurant was very busy with takeout. I think the restaurant needs to do a better job of managing reservations and takeout to ensure the staff isn't overwhelmed. Food wasn't anything special, and it took nearly an hour to get our food.

   Appetizers, pizza and pasta dishes were all great. Cannoli’s for dessert were amazing. Highly recommend this and the other locations in the Tampa Bay Area.

   Pre-theatre; restaurant smelled (like feet, but assuming some kind of cheese). Food was good but overpriced. City was packed with people yelling, running, kids and everyone with a phone in their face, so not paying attention to anything around them (Alice in Wonderland experience). Not the restaurants fault, but still lessened the experience.

    We went back a second time during our weekend stay in Tampa. First night we enjoyed the pizza and the second time we ordered pasta and an appetizer. Service was quick and very friendly. Noise level outside and inside was high-busy street busy night. Great place!

    Unorganized. Was told they could not sit our reservations after made a reservation. Ended up sitting at a table after waiting and was not helped for 30 minutes everyone just walked right by. Got up and left. Will not come back.

    I ordered ravioli and it was terribly undercooked, sent it back and the second thing late was just as undercooked as the first. Awful experience.

    Hostess and waitress were so kind and accommodating. The Margherita pizza and Verde salad made a great meal. We loved the intimate feel of this small space. Highly recommend.

    We were a little late for our reservation due to traffic. Called ahead to let them know, when we got there very busy and we had to wait 45 mins for a table by which time we were running out of time to get to the theatre for a show. Server was outstanding and put our order in straight away, spoke to chef and within 5 or so minutes our pizza was on the table. Made it to our show in time. They were very busy but the server and chef went above and beyond. We will do definitely be back and the pizza was amazing!

    Celebrated my girlfriends 24th birthday! Great experience we loved the vibe and service however I got some hard ravioli noodles which was a little disappointing but overall great experience we will be back.

    The food was amazing! Went on New Years Eve and figured it would take a little since they were busy, but our waiter was great and we were well taken care of! We loved the vodka sauce. Definitely will return when we are in Tampa again!

    Our server Hannah was amazing. She was very attentive. Always had a smile on her face. After reading the reviews, we actually expected more from this restaurant as it pertains to food quality. The pizzas were great but we make the same ones at home, with. The rest was average. Nothing spectacular. Probably will not ever go back. Somewhat disappointing.

    Amazing food and staff. My wife ordered extra cheese, which made the crust a little soggy. They fixed it right away to perfection and provided a discount. Best pizza in Tampa!!!

    Bavaro's has very good food, the wine chosen by the sommelier is excellent, the service is good. The location has three other pizzarias nearby and Bavaro's is definitely the best. But their pasta is actually better than their pizza. It is real Italian. The texture is perfect al dente, and the sauces are bellissimo. And don't miss their "happy hour" wine specials. Their wine is excellent and half-off during happy hour. At the other end is Tampa pizza. I rate Tampa pizza at the bottom, not just for the area but in the Tampa region. And never ever get their pasta or wine. Their wine is very low end and the serve it in plastic cups. Only choose them for pizza if Bavaro's, or Sam & Eddie's (#2 but Bavaro's is a big step-up) are both closed, you don't have a car to go to Cappy's, NYC NYC, or one of many other much better places, and you must have pizza. Also, pay attention to the bill because Tampa Pizza seems to think that they are in Miami and add a 20% service fee to the bill. Their reasoning, "we get a lot of Europeans who don't know how to tip." Well, the Europeans that I know are smart enough to know that they are in the USA when they travel and know how to tip.

    We were coming from Sarasota and got caught in traffic. Called the restaurant to let them know we were running 15 mins late. Host who answered the phone was distracted and borderline impolite on the phone (clearly wasn’t listening). Then we arrived, she was outrageously rude, made us wait even though a patron with an open check and credit card finally had to come up to her stand to pay (while she sat there doing nothing -clearly she could have run his credit card to help out the server and get us seated). Once at our table, our server was pleasant and efficient and the food was good, if overpriced for what it was. The hostess’ rude demeanor seriously took away from what could have been an otherwise nice experience.

    Overall, pretty good! They were pretty busy when we were there, so it took some time. We had plenty of time, though, before our show so it was no big deal. We made reservations, which was huge, because we saw several groups get turned away. charcuterie board was a big hit with our group, as were the meatballs. The tri-carne pizza and the penned vodka sauce were not very big hits with us, so we'll try something different next time. The pasta, actually, came out cold, which surprised me, but we didn't hassle over it. Wine was good, company was good, so overall it was good! We'll come back. Enjoy!

    Great Service and Delicious Dinner! Celebrating my daughter's 21st with dinner before a show at the Straz. Bravaro's has always been one of my daughter's favorite restaurants. Dinner was delicious. Sophia C. was a great server and went the extra mile to make the evening special. She offered small samples of the wine to ensure my daughter got the one she would like and made sure we had time to enjoy the birthday Nutella pizza. Look forward to going back again.

    Very small and cozy. Would be great for a date or small group. When I went there was a table next to us with more 10 people… and in such a small space it was horrendous to talk with the people I was with. I also felt bad for the staff who had to accommodate such a large party in such small place. Food was great and they have very good white wine.

    We arrived for our 4:30 reservation. By 5:45 our entrees had not come out yet and we had to leave without them due to having an event to go to at 6pm. The apps were good but no one came to the table to apologize for the delay or give any updates.
