    Benzai has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants for years. It's laid back, but the food is always very good. The wait staff is also great. I always get at least a small order of tempura. Their tempura is some of the best in Denver. The sushi is always very fresh.

    Speaking with some of the staff at Banzai Sushi, I found out that this little restaurant will be celebrating 50 years in the same location and whose management has only switched three times in all those years. Our server shared that when they first opened up, there was a large Japanese American population area. Over the years, the number of Japanese American families greatly decreased, but the quality of Banzai's menu has stood the test of time. My SO and I weren't sure what to expect, but we came in with high hopes and we weren't disappointed. The sushi is fresh, tasty and we loved each bite. Banzai has a lengthy list of sushi rolls with pictures and detailed descriptions to choose from. It's a small place, so I recommend making reservations. Enjoy!!

    Wait staff were uncharacteristically unconcerned and unavailable tonight. It was not extremely busy and by 7:45 they were not busy but the staff were not concerned with providing their typically good level of service.

    Wonderful food! Great selection! Busy, open space! We had a bit of a wait as it was the Monday after Christmas and there was a large party. Worth the wait! A lot of sushi places are not open on Mondays, but Banzai is! I highly recommend making a reservation. Tasty fresh fish!

    Always looking for a good sushi place since most don't measure up to my standards. At Bonzai, the yellowtail was very fresh & delicious and the rolls were very good. Service was excellent. And the price was very reasonable. I'll be back!

    This sushi restaurant is amazing! I loved the food. Typically I follow a keto diet and there were plenty of wonderful options. Comfortable seating and a noise level that allowed me to have a conversation with people at my table was very much appreciated. Highly Recommend!!!

    Even short staffed Banzai was on point. Between just two waitresses they took great care of customes dining in and with takeout orders. Great sushi and Japanese cuisine. I'm glad I made a reservation on OpenTable.

    The service was horrible. After sitting for 15 minutes without even water, I flagged down a waitress and asked her if she would serve us. She appeared overwhelmed and reluctant. The restaurant was less than half full, but the staff appeared overwhelmed. After I ordered, I waited another 15 minutes for the soup and salad. I also waited at least 15 minutes after I finished the salad for my entrée, and finally flagged someone down to ask where it was. It eventually came, but the steak teriyaki was overcooked and tough. I have eaten there many times and have never before had such bad service or a bad meal.

    Unique rolls with a ton of wonderful combinations. My biggest complaint is the quality of fish. If their fish was better this would be a new favorite spot. However the fish fell short of expectations.
