   Great service and good food. It is a restaurant in our hotel on the beach and over our stay we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All were great and didn’t need to go elsewhere.

   This is a great place for a more upscale experience in the Daytona/Ponce Inlet area of Florida. We enjoy the more casual style bar restaurants but just occasionally like something that feels like a step above. The lobby area is welcoming, the views of the ocean are spectacular and the restaurant is comfortable. The menu has a nice variety and the food is delicious. There is an outside seating option but it has a much more casual vibe outside. Stay inside, enjoy the air conditioning and the excellent service.

   No ambience, no charm, bad food. We ate dinner there tonight . We shared the fried calamari which were the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the half roasted chicken it came with mashed potatoes. He declared it the worst meal he has eaten in years. Everything was grossly salty. I ordered the crab cakes . It was one flat cake that was tasteless . The presentation of the food was drab . The waitress was very nice and the manager said he appreciated the feedback since the chef is new on the job . A very disappointing experience

   We have always loved eating at Azure and is one of the reasons we choose to stay at The Shores Resort. Unfortunately, this is definitely not the restaurant it used to be. Eating here prior to COVID was a fine dining experience and the food was excellent. Now, I wouldn’t even call it a good dining experience. Our first night we both ordered steak and it was flavorless as were the sides. The portions were plentiful but I only ate a few bites. My appetizer, the crab cake, was OK but again not great. Breakfast here used to be awesome and I was looking forward to crab cakes Benedict. Unfortunately breakfast menu was just eggs, omelette, pancakes etc. Their pancakes were really good. I was a little surprised when they brought out the cream for my husband’s coffee in a plastic disposable drinking cup. Just seemed tacky. The only real upside was that the service was excellent. We would not eat here again.

   Apps and entree came out together had to send entree back and have it refired after I was done with my app. Grouper was dry and no flavor, rice was cold, dry and no flavor, spinach was ok on flavor but semi warm. Crab cakes were good. Next morning at mothers day brunch the chicken and waffle sliders took 40 mins to come out, the were very cold, French toast was also cold.

   Food was delicious. Service was welcoming, kind and on point. Beautiful atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food and great service. Prices and the amount of food you get were also great.

   Had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated after our reservation time and the host staff seemed to be very overwhelmed and confused. Probably short staffed like everywhere else but aside from that we enjoyed our time here.

    The food was flavorless and bland. I supposedly got grouper, I catch grouper so I know is wasn’t grouper. My husbands shrimps dish was flavorless too.

    Our service was superb. The waiter/waitress, was extremely responsive, courteous, and did everything to make us feel at home. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even gave us a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The dessert was bread pudding, which was fantastic. Definitely return

    the easter brunch menu was limited with odd selections and our waiter had no idea what any of the limited items included, they were unsure what special drinks were made with or if they could even make a coffee beverage. every question was asked was "IDK" - just maybe have the team review their specialty menus

    We sat outside while dining Azure and the sound of the ocean, the breeze, and the fire pit created a very relaxing atmosphere. Food was very good and our server was excellent! Would return again.

    Ambiance was excellent. Great location and views. Quiet and comfortable. Food was very good. They need to get it together on service. I don't blame the waitress. I blame the manager. Server was friendly and eager to do her job. Arrived with my father in law @ 5:30, Friday 3/17. 2 parking valets ignored us. Placed at a table with no silverware or napkins. No water was offered or served. Appetizer served with no plates, napkins or silverware. I got them myself. Salad came out w/ the entree rather than before. Salad was served in a small bowl w/ dressing on the side. Impossible to cut or mix through dressing without salad flying all over the table. Asked for a beer and A1 sauce when meal was served. Was half done when the beer arrived and had to ask for A1 again. This was a very nice place that I would go back to. But the service needs to be in character with the rest of the restaurant and resort.

    Dressed nicely. Ordered the special, Grouper w/ asparagus and cauliflower puree. Grouper - dry and overcooked. Asparagus - kitchen "made a mistake" and served mixed greens instead. When asking about asparagus, was told, "Sorry, they made a mistake," with no offer to replace, refund, etc. Extremely noisy, slow service, understaffed. Extremely disappointing. Order a burger and fries and wear shorts so you will not be disappointed, but you will overpay.

    This was not fine dining. The bread with the mussels appetizer was so hard that you could not eat it. And when we pointed it out to the waitress, she did not even offer to get us some better bread.

    The food was not seasoned at all, poor menu choices. Azurae in Jacksonville is 10x better. Our server was good though. The restaurant itself was beautiful.

    Menu is very limited and the short-handed staff works hard to please. This is not the first class restaurant reflected in Open Table. It is a surviving hotel dining room following the disenfranchisement of the hotel. It is clean and the woodwork has been re-stained but it is out of date and in need of refurbishment. The hotel does NOT validate parking tickets for the dining room so there is a charge for valet parking. Worth eating here if you are a guest of the hotel but as a local, will not return.

    My wife and I were completely delighted by our experience at Azure, the food was well prepared and very tasty, the service was excellent. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be sure to return. The seating on the porch is best, the view of the beach and ocean was fantastic.

    This place is a gem! Our waitress Zandra was awesome. Great communication, friendly, took time to chat but didn’t neglect her other customers. The manager Dustin made our anniversary so special that we came two nights in a row. He is so welcoming and sweet. We live 45 minutes away but this is our new favorite spot.

    It left alot to be desired. If I were a real complainer, I would have requested items be removed from our bill. It started with seating at a table in the bar, which was great. We waited and waited, but no server ever came to our table. I asked if we were supposed to put orders in at the bar and was told that no, a server would be to the table. We ended up going up to the bartender to place our food and drink orders. He was a lovely man, kind enough to take care of us even though he was super busy tending bar. My steak was horribly undercooked and tough. The potatoes that were served with it were not edible. I didn't even know you could mess up potatos. However, 4 other people at my table agreed after attempting to taste them. It was almost as if they had been cooked in something that still had soap or cleaner in it. My daughter said it tasted like someone had sprayed air freshener on them. My daughter's pizza had soooo much cheese on it she couldn't eat more than a piece. And the rest of the food was not much better. Like I said, the bartender was so great!! The rest of it though was just no good.

    Spent Christmas Eve- reservations at 6 pm. Entry ambience was beautiful and Chrismassy - dining area lacked that festive feel - but was fine none the less. Service was excellent - our server was diligent, on task , was helpful without hovering. Appetizers and cocktails came out first - wings and pretzel - both excellent. Our server was attentive to timing - didn't rush us as she knew we were there to celebrate and enjoy our time. Our meals arrived hot and beautifully presented. We enjoyed our first time visit there and will come again!

    Really nice place with good food, but very limited menu and extremely high priced cocktails. Was billed $92 for 6 cocktails that were pretty heavy on ice and light on liquor. Could be a great place to dine with improved drink prices and more extensive menu.
