The menu offers selections combining the rich, creamy sauces and hearty meats of Brescia with the fresh seafood and the delicate fruits and vegetables of Amalfi. Once inside, an 18-foot, gently curving mahogany ceiling serves as the blossom connecting the fine woodcarving of the front and side dining rooms and bar area. Georgia O'Keeffe's flower series surrounds guests as they choose from Azalea's distinctive menu and extensive wine list.

Excellent all the way around! Delicious food, attentive but not intrusive service, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!
A great place for that part of town. Nice outside in good weather. Host and server fabulous
Menu is extensive. Food is good. We had mozzarella and tomato and eggplant app which was very good
Spaghetti with clams was ok. Needed more clams.
Good place for pre theater dinner . Food was good and well priced.
the overall ambiance of this restaurant was wonderful and the food was simply divine. i really enjoyed the kind servers, although they became hard to flag down when service picked up, which is understandable. overall a wonderful pre-show experience!
My guests arrived late (6pm for 5:30 reservation) and we had tickets to a 7pm show. I asked the waiter if we’d have enough time he said yes if we ordered any pasta dishes or certain fish dishes. We all ordered the branzino. It cam out within minutes of ordering and was delicious and cooked to perfection. My guests each had a glass of wine and we were done with time to spare to get to the show. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We went to see the CHER show and had dinner afterwards at Azalea. Exceptional food; enjoyed our experience.
the G&T’s did not disappoint! Great salmon and stuffed chicken.
Nice atmosphere, very good food, excellent service. Good prefix too.
The restaurant was wonderful. Food was cooked to perfection. Great location for the play Wicked since it is right next door. We were very pleased with dinner and the service
We had a nice table outside pre theater. The food was fine but not great. It was a little overpriced fir what we received. It is convenient before going to a show.
Very good restaurant in the theater district where many of the restaurants are tourist traps. As a native New Yorker I would return and would recommend Wonderful Pasta dishes .
The service was great and very quick as we had a show to make. The food, however, was okay, nothing really special. A bit pricey for the quality, but good for a quick meal.
Azalea is our new find in the theater district. The food is very good but he service is exceptional. we were a very large group of 16 last week. The wait staff was attentive. Our meal was delicious and relaxed and they got us out of the restaurant in plenty of time to make our show
Azalea is not a restaurant I would consider for anything other than pre-theater, but for that limited purpose it is totally fine. The staff is friendly and the room is spacious and well lighted. I wouldn't say that it has great ambience but it is quiet enough for conversation. We were seated immediately even with our party incomplete. Service was prompt. You will not miss your curtain. We started with calamari (very nicely done, not overly breaded or oily) and spinach salad (mediocre) and then butternut squash ravioli (very good) and veal scallopini (decent). With 3 glasses of wine, an excellent espresso, tax and tip we spent $60 pp. The theater district is deficient in reliable, reasonably priced and efficient pre-theater restaurants so you should consider Azalea because it checks all these boxes.
Food was great and the service was good enough. But the waiter forgot to bring out carry on food.
Overpriced. There is much better food just as close to the Theater district. I was disappointed.
Those in my party really enjoyed their steaks, but I was underimpressed with my pasta carbonara dish. The bacon wasn’t cooked well and the butter and cream sauce separated before I could finish eating. The apple cake was more like bread pudding.
We had a perfectly nice dinner at Azalea. We were seated in a back corner - not much of a view but it was quiet enough to comfortably chat.
Our waiter steered us well, recommending this dish over another.
Desserts were a bit underwhelming but overall I liked it - very close to our theatre.
Fabulous food and excellent service
Great place to go before a broadway show
relaxed atmosphere, great service with friendly wait staff.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. I’m glad to have made this discovery.
THis was my second visit to Azalea. I asked for a window table and my request was honored. The menu is lovely...not large but enough to select from. The service is always excellent. I tried lamb chops and they were delicious. The mashed potatoes were cold, but they replaced them with steaming hot ones. I thought the portion was small compared to other restaurants lamb chop dinners at the same price level, but they were cooked to order and filling. My friend had the gnocchi which was totally delicious. This time we did not have dessert, but they have a nice selection-a bit pricey but tastes good. This restaurant was far from our theatre but still worth going to because it is a little quieter. Enjoyed our dinner.
Very attentive waitstaff. The food and drinks were marvelous. Overall experience was wonderful!
Very attentive service. Delicious food. Nice presentation.
Very conscientious about our theater reservations and timing of food arrival to our table.
Great food and proximity to a number of shows. The service was great and food was brought out quickly allowing us to get to show on time.
Azalea never disappoints— food is so fresh and creative - it’s our go to restaurant in midtown NYC
I have been there many times but this time the place looked”tired”. Walls needed painting - carpets needed cleaning & bathroom needed to be cleaned
The food was excellent and very reasonably priced especially for the location.
Everything to me was "very good". Would I call it "Excellent", No. For the pricing, I expected a little more, but maybe it was just me or just what I had to eat. Overall, DEFINITELY VERY GOOD THOUGH!
Food was superb! Great location if your headed to a show. Service was great!
Food and service was very good. Nice selection of different entre items and this restaurants proximity to the theatre district is an advantage for early or late evening dining to coincide with your theatre night out. Salads were excellent, chicken dishes very good and cappuccino was outstanding.
Food was good but portions were small. I had the ravioli special and only got about 5 to 6 pieces of ravioli. Not the place if you want to get full.
Food was average, overpriced in my opinion. Strange rules about happy hour. Friendly staff.
It was mediocre. The service was better than the food. I would not recommend this restaurant with all the other better ones here.
Wish the waiter was friendly. Food was great. Would go here again.
I love Azalea. I it is my go-to place whenever I go to the theatre. The food is excellent and the menu choices are varied and appealing. Service is excellent - efficient without giving you a “rushed” feeling.
I know I will be back!
Food was excellent as well as the service! Great location for catching a Broadway show
