The pastitsio was amazing!! I would definitely recommend getting it. The chicken kabob was over cooked and dry but I will be ordering the pastitsio again Forsure!

We eat at Athena's often, and the food is always excellent! We love the atmosphere ... especially in the summer when they open up the roof. The people who work there are highly professional and, at the same time, extremely nice. Our server last night, Christian, was wonderful. Highly recommend this dining experience!

Amazing food and great staff. Huge restaurant so we were seated right away even though we arrived 10 minutes past our reservation time. Will definitely be coming back, their dips and dolmas are to die for!

We have been going to Athena for several years, but the meal that we shared with two other couples last night was the best yet. If you are interested in sitting on the patio on the weekend, I suggest that you get there very early. Highly recommended, especially the salads, chicken dishes, tzatziki, saganaki, and vegetarian mousaka.

I’m a fellow Greek and was visiting from Montreal and had to visit Greektown in Chicago! Someone recommended this restaurant and I’m so happy we went! Amazing authentic food for a reasonable price. Love the deco and ambiance. Will come again!

Authentic Greek cuisine, excellent helpful service and a gorgeous atmo make for a memorable dining experience. The taramasalata is tasty, the whole fish is moist and fresh and the desserts are scrumptious. Highly, highly recommend!

The food is consistently delicious. The room is bright and cheerful with the glass dome - and love that it can be opened up in the summer. The wait staff is always fast and courteous. This is indeed my favorite spot in Greektown!

My daughters-in-"love" and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Athena last night. We had the Saganaki and Pita and Spreads for our appetizer, greek salads and gyros plate and chicken kebobs. All were delicious and we took alot home as they give large portions. Our server, Gus was great, and recommended some great Greek wine. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner together.

We went at 6. Doorman friendly explained cabs not available needed Uber to get back to hotel. Server knew the wines and menu well. Very fast but not rushed. Servers covered for each other so always attentive. Food great appetizer, octopus, lamb shank, moussaka, avegolemono soup the best and very generous portions. Great value. No complaints at all. Place filled quickly and full when left at 8 on Friday so make reservations. No cabs available. Don’t miss for Greek
