2022 marks Ashten's 25th year of bringing locally sourced, creatively prepared food to guests. Owner, Ashley Van Camp, and award winning chef, Matthew Hannon, work with area farmers daily to procure the best that the Sandhills and North Carolina have to offer. Step into our elegant Dining Room or into the cozy atmosphere of The Pub for a farm-to-table experience. Private dining for groups of 6 to 22 is available on our lower level, as well as outdoor dining, weather permitting. Takeout is also available. Have been asking friends where they would recommend we celebrate our anniversary and Ashten's was suggested. We have been here just over 5 years and have been mostly disappointed with the restaurant offerings here, but it probably isn't fair to compare here to where we would celebrate special occasions when we were living in California - Napa, Sonoma and the Bay area. This place did not disappoint. We kept it simple. I had the Pork chop, excellent! Perfectly done, moist, jucy and flavorful. My wife had the Trout and had the same experience. Tried the pecan pie with homemade ice cream for dessert which was also very good. We sat in the main dinning room which was quiet but next time I we'll take the pub area which look a little more relaxed and fun. The only thing that came as a bit of a surprise was the price of our after dinner drinks which were $10 higher each than what was shown in the online (guess I should have asked). Still a very very enjoyable evening and a definite place to return to and to recommend.

Loved my experience there, will definitely go back. Only real criticism: cocktails weren’t that great—they weren’t properly balanced, and it was quite noticeable to the trained eye.

We’ve been here a handful of times, but unfortunately, this specific time even with a reservation, we got stuck under an AC unit that was dripping water on my husband. They didn’t have another seating option with a regular table so eventually we shifted our table about six inches to overcome it. This wouldn’t have been feasible if someone would have been at the table next to us because of chair space. Even though this was frustrating, they did compensate with a free dessert.

Had a great dinner! Had a comfortable table in the bar area. We had a toddler with us and the staff was great with her providing crayons and paper to color. Service and food were perfect!

We enjoyed our evening with Ashten’s. Our server, Adam was excellent. I had the New York strip and it was superb. My wife add the chicken entree. It was a bit dry, but the vegetables were great. We will definitely go back soon.

Always so very tasty with clever use of local ingredients. Our table enjoyed the ostrich, duck, salmon and chicken (yes, the often overlooked chicken!), and everyone left sated and happy. The pub is comfortably cozy with consistently excellent service and gentle lighting—a very pleasant environment in which to linger over a cocktail and conversation while enjoying a relaxed evening with friends.
