Its separation from the main dining room allows guests to enjoy a quieter and more personal experience. Lucy was a great server. All staff were accommodating. We were originally sat beside a very loud table and were accommodated to move. It was at a high top but it was better and quieter. Food was quick, tasty and it was a nice anniversary dinner.

Absolutely fantastic. There were 6 of us. We started with mushroom pate, beef tartar and simply yummy and fresh oysters. Then we had steaks and the pork chop. All of the food was delicious. The service was lovely. Everyone that attended us were so nice and efficient. We were so glad we went. Our best meal so far in Edinburgh.

I was skeptical given the location of the restaurant on the touristy Royal Mile but this skepticism quickly dissipated once inside. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the food is simply fabulous. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The sea trout was amazing. Don’t miss the chocolate mousse dessert. We returned just for dessert a second night during our stay in town so we could have it again! A must visit while in Edinburgh!
