   Wonderful place to enjoy a beautiful meal, and drinks. The food is prepared well, delicious with great flavors. Wine and cocktails available. Leave room for dessert. MJ our sever amazing, gave us details about the dishes and drinks. She was also a fun, charming sever. Will be back!

   The whole night was quite slow, and there seemed to be one issue after the other. Not to mention the table next to us had 2 seatings where both parties got up and left while we were still there. Took a while to get the first round of drinks. The men had Manhattans and asked for the same, but got completely different kind of Manhattan even though they ordered “the same”. Then it took another attempt to get the drinks right where the bartender had to come over. Apparently the first round of manhattans wasn’t what they ordered and the second and third round was what the ordered but they didn’t like yet still had to pay for them. And then everyone got their meal relatively on time (although very slow to come out) yet my meal (the one that didn’t even need cooking) was late to the table still. Overall good food, but slow service and there should have been some sort of remedy for the amount of time we waited and issues we had. That’s why the 3 rating.

   Had a 6:30 reservation…sat down right on time…was told they were out of filet, house chips and a fish dish - ordered deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes along with some drinks and our main courses - 45 minutes later we got the deviled eggs - when we asked when we could expect our main courses - was told she had no idea as they were short staffed and very busy - after another 30 min our kids got antsy and we got our check and left. Looked promising but completely ridiculous how unprepared the place was for customers

   We come to aLure twice a year while traveling and this visit was outstanding. We had the most enjoyable night because of our server MJ. She was like a friend we hadn’t seen in a long time. As for service she great advice, knew the menu, made sure we had everything we needed and wanted, and gave a few great laughs. Best service we’ve had anywhere in a long time. The Food was delicious we had to start devilled eggs and the crab cakes. So so good. The meatloaf had tremendous flavour and the pork shank was so tender and flavourful. We’ll be back again and hope to see MJ.

   Food, drinks, and service were outstanding! MJ was our server, and she was knowledgeable, funny and attentive. Biscuits and rolls with fresh butter and mango jam- delicious! We had the rabbit ravioli and the fried green tomatoes to start- superb! Shrimp and grits, seafood pasta, and peas and carrots ( a cover for buttery perfectly cooked scallops) for entrees that could not have been better. Drinks from the bar were refreshing and well mixed- even turned one into a virgin for the non-drinker in the party. Don’t miss the trio of sorbet - house made- or the chocolate pecan pie. Overall a perfect dinner from start to finish. Book here before everyone else finds out how good this place is! They have transitioned into new staff recently, and they are doing an amazing job!

    Very nice restaurant, food was good…seafood pasta, crab cakes, portobello mushroom and goat cheese tart, tomato-basil soup, salads. My fellow diners thought the soup serving was on the small side. Get dressing on the side-way too much if not. Our server was wonderful. Nice evening and we would return.

    I’ve never been to a restaurant at this caliber with such poor service. Food came out cold and had to return it- after reheating the food, the waitress watched me eat to see if I will return it again. Waited long time for wine glass due to “bartender busy” but we see the bartender hanging out with the hostess. No service recovery. Food was ok. Never again.

    Great service! We ordered several of the appetizers and shared them like tapas. Delicious fried green tomatoes and amazing rabbit ravioli were some of the delicious plates. Definitely a place we will go back to.

    The room was crowded, noisy, and hot because the door was open to the street. The waitress forgot to bring our bread until we were into the entrees. She also failed to get our order into the kitchen so it was very late in coming. She was no rookie. She told us she had been doing this for 14 years. She simply forgot us. There were four of us and we ordered 3 appetizers to share. However they did not provide any dishes to facilitate sharing. That was awkward. The food was good but not something I would recommend to friends. This was a bad experience.

    Food was outstanding and service excellent. MJ was our server and steered us to all the best dishes. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Savannah. The house For the apps try the clams or rabbit ravioli. The house salad with home made pralines and blueberry dressing amazing. Shared the meatloaf with wife and it was delightful.     This restaurant is a great find! It is light, bright, the service is outstanding, and the food is insanely delicious. Lamb carpaccio with blue cheese ice cream! IDK what the inspiration was for the dish, but it was amazing. I asked if I could have an entree-sized portion! I also ate the Fresh Catch, and my husband ate the pork shank. Both delicious and generously sized. We will be back again!

    Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The only downside is that it is very noisy. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, this may not be the best choice. We have been a number of times and will definitely be back.

    We tried the low country boil - shrimp was excellent corn and potatoes were not seasoned and the sausage is very spicy- seemed like a deconstructed low country boil where the parts were all prepared separately rather than all in the seasoning boil

    The ambience is nice, comfortable. At order time our friendly waiter announced both “Fresh catch of the day” & Clams were out of stock, as was Pinot Noir. I ordered Rabbit Open Ravioli appetizer & it was an excellent fine dining level dish. We both ordered Crab Cakes, which were very good; well above average in texture, with a little finely diced sweet red pepper mixed in the ~2 oz cakes. We are foodies and found the wine list lacking. Overall a good experience. A city parking garage is close by, which solved the street parking difficulties.

    GREAT experience. We took a chance on a.Lure Savannah despite having read 2 different 1 star reviews posted the same day as our reservation. So glad we took that chance. Shrimp and grits - wonderful! Peas and carrots - great! Our server Jess was 5 star. Would go again.

    One of the most bizarre and horrible dining experiences we have ever encountered. Over two hours for our entree’s to arrive and waiter was pretty much AWOL. We thought it was just us but then other guests started leaving without receiving their food as well. We stuck it out and did finally receive our meal which was good. Why there was a complete collapse of the kitchen operation remains a mystery…

    The waiter did his job. Our issue was more on the kitchen. First, they gave us the wrong starter. Secondly, we waited an hour and 15 minutes for our main meal to arrive. Thirdly, my wife's meat on her plate was mainly fatty she didn't eat it. That was a waste of a meal. Lastly, on top of it, she asked for broccoli and received asparagus. $91 on meals not worth it for us. That was our experience.

    Theoretically fine-dining with southern flair and comfort. We were in small rear room with loud group of 8 persons making it quite noisy. After two tries, could not find a small table for two that did not wobble noticeably, then gave up. Ordered bottle of white spanish wine, no chiller offered until we requested it. Food was pretty good, not great, and some details wanting. My wife received a ravioli dish accompanied by a small piece of toasted bread that was quite burnt - but served anyway. Service was spotty though the place was half empty. Clearly they need to try a little harder here.

    It was our 30th wedding anniversary, and although we never told a.Lure, the staff was wonderful. They were attentive without hovering, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and warm. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

    The seasonal jam with the biscuits was outstanding! Highly recommend the pork shank, it fell apart it was so tender. The flounder was moist and flaky and the light breading had great flavor. The bartender was awesome, did not get his name. My wife was not sure what she wanted and he created a martini for her that we told him should be on the menu. The light music in the background was nice and the lighting was just dim enough. We will for sure be back again. If you are downtown and looking for a nice place to eat we highly recommend A.Lure.

    There were four of us dining on Saturday night - 3 out of the four of us loved our meals. The fourth person got the meatloaf and thought it dry, without much flavor. Our dessert was great - the cheesecake!

    Food was excellent...Rabbit Ravioli was delicious. Pickled veggies with the deviled eggs was a nice change. house salad was good very large, enough for 2 people. Low country boil was super salty, had to send back and they fixed it. Ordered the corvina the fish special of the night, they ran out and subbed swordfish. Service and staff were unprofessional. Server greeted us and wanted our order before asking if we wanted a cocktail. Managers boyfriend was hanging around being a pest and distracting the employees from doing there jobs. I know times are tough in the restaurant business but a high end restaurant should still be run professionally.
